I'm republishing this 2023 BlogPost to further define
the "Democrat Party" as it is today. The DNC was subsumed
to the New Party agenda which sponsored the communist programs which we have seen become Mainstream America
Social Systems.
Take a look, and you'll see the evolution of
Communism in America as 0bama infiltrated our political system
and manipulates what passes for the Democrat Party today.
Biden failed, and Kamala now steps in with Walz, a fellow
communist, and when Walz gets dumped, they'll bring in
and
when Kamala steps down, Mayor Pete will become the
Democrat candidate of choice to try to become POTUS and
finally create the USSA [United Soviet States of America].
This is another in my series of guest posts by credible authors,
I re-publish information of historical value to a broad audience.
This article reveals 0bama's early and continued communist influence.
This post merely gives you a taste of 0bama's devious operations.
My purpose is educational, i.e., to reveal 0bama's plan
to convert the US into a communist nation, with
liberty and justice denied to all.
We are, in the guise of the "Biden Administration",
currently in 0bama's Third Term!
New documents shed more light on 0bama's ties to the 1990s Leftist (communist) party in the 1990s.

On January 11, 1996, while Mitt Romney was in the final years as the head of
Bain Capital, Barack Obama
formally joined the
New Party, which was deeply hostile to the mainstream of the Democratic Party, and even to American capitalism.
Romney
snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in his debate with 0bama, caving to "
moderator" CNN's
Candy Crowly, who tripped up Romney with a trick question, leaving Romney, the clear winner, looking like a fool.
Fast forward to 2008, candidate Obama deceived the American public about his damaging ties to this Third Party. The issue remains as fresh as today’s headlines, as Romney argued that Obama was trying to move the United States toward European-style Social Democracy, (on the path to communism) which was precisely the New Party’s goal!
In late October 2008, when Kurtz wrote at National Review Online that Obama had been a member of the New Party, 0bama's campaign sharply denied it, calling Kurtz's claim a “crackpot smear.”
“Barack has been a member of only one political party, the Democratic Party.”
Kurtz rebutted this, but the debate was never taken up by the mainstream press.
[Ed Note: 0bama's tactics remain the same, though more refined; he continues operating behind the scenes, orchestrating the Biden Administration through Biden doubles (actors and robots) to complete his communist script in which he has imbedded communist operatives.
It is the same tactic 0bama and his cabal are currently using against Trump to disrupt his campaign and impune his integrity; the concept is for a non-stop lies and personal attacks on one's opponent - a basic communist tactic.]
0bama also signed a “contract” promising to publicly support and associate himself with the New Party while in office.
Minutes of the meeting on January 11, 1996, of the New Party’s Chicago chapter read as follows:
"Barack Obama, candidate for State Senate in the 13th Legislative District, gave a statement to the membership and answered questions. He signed the New Party “Candidate Contract” and requested an endorsement from the New Party. He also joined the New Party. Consistent with this, a roster of the Chicago chapter of the New Party from early 1997 lists Obama as a member, with January 11, 1996, indicated as the date he joined."

Knowing that Obama disguised his New Party membership helps make sense of his questionable handling of the 2008 controversy over his ties to ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now).
During his third debate with John McCain, Obama said that the “only” involvement he’d had with ACORN was to represent the group in a lawsuit seeking to compel Illinois to implement the National Voter Registration Act, or motor-voter law.
Why did Obama deny his ties to ACORN?
The group was notorious in 2008 for thug tactics, fraudulent voter registrations, and its role in popularizing risky sub-prime lending.
Admitting that he had helped to fund ACORN’s voter-registration efforts and train some of their organizers would doubtless have been an embarrassment but not likely a crippling blow to his campaign.
So why not simply confess the tie and make light of it?
The problem for Obama was ACORN’s political arm, the New Party.
The revelation in 2008 that Obama had joined an ACORN-controlled, Leftist third party could have been damaging indeed, and coming clean about his broader work with ACORN might easily have exposed these New Party ties.
Because the work of ACORN and the New Party often intersected with Obama’s other alliances,
honesty about his ties to either could have laid bare the entire network of his leftist political partnerships.
Although Obama is ultimately responsible for deceiving the American people in 2008 about his political background, he got help from
his old associates -- radical terrorists. Each of the two former political allies who helped him to deny his New Party membership during campaign ’08 was in a position to know better.
The
Fight the Smears website quoted
Carol Harwell, who managed Obama’s 1996 campaign for the Illinois senate:
“Barack did not solicit or seek the New Party endorsement for state senator in 1995.”
Drawing on her testimony, Fight the Smears conceded that the New Party did support Obama in 1996 but denied that Obama had ever joined, adding that
“he was the only candidate on the ballot in his race and never solicited the endorsement.”
This is a false statement!
Obama formally requested New Party endorsement, signed the candidate contract, and joined the Party.
Is it conceivable that Obama’s own campaign manager could have been unaware of this?
The notion is implausible. And the documents make Harwell’s assertion more remarkable still.
The New Party had a front group called Progressive Chicago, whose job was to identify candidates that the
New Party and its sympathizers might support.
Nearly four years before Obama was endorsed by the New Party, both he and Harwell joined Progressive Chicago and began signing public letters that regularly reported on the group’s meetings. By prominently taking part in Progressive Chicago activities, Obama was effectively soliciting New Party support for his future political career (as was Harwell, on Obama’s behalf).
So Harwell’s testimony is doubly false.
When the
New Party controversy broke out, just about the only mainstream journalist to cover it was
Politico’s Ben Smith, whose evident purpose was to dismiss it out of hand. He contacted Obama’s official spokesman
Ben LaBolt, who claimed that his candidate “
was never a member” of the New Party.

“We didn’t really have members.”
But a line in the New Party’s official newsletter explicitly identified Obama as a Party member. Rogers dismissed that as mere reference to “the fact that the party had endorsed him.”
This is nonsense.
Kurtz exposed the falsity of Rogers’s bogus claim, and Smith’s credulity in accepting it, in 2008 [Smith's comment was that
lies never got in the way of publishing). And in his book -
Radical-in-Chief, Kurtz took on Rogers’ continuing attempts to justify it. The now disclosed
New Party records reveal how dramatically far from the truth Rogers’s statement was all along.
In a memo dated January 29, 1996, Rogers, writing as head of the New Party Interim Executive Council, addressed
“standing concerns regarding existing chapter development and activity, the need for visibility as well as new members.”
So less than three weeks after Obama joined the New Party, Rogers was fretting about the need for new members. Then, how could Rogers assert in 2008 that his Party “didn’t really have members”?
Internal documents show that the entire leadership of the New Party, both nationally and in Chicago, was practically obsessed with signing up new members, from its founding moments until it dissolved in the late 1990s.
In 2008, after Kurtz called Rogers out on his false claim that his party had no members; Rogers explained to Ben Smith that “we did have regular supporters whom many called ‘members,’ but it just meant contributing regularly, not getting voting rights or other formal power in NP governance.”
This is also flatly contradicted by uncovered records.
At about the time Obama joined the New Party, the Chicago chapter was embroiled in a bitter internal dispute. A Party-membership list was attached to a memo in which the leaders of one faction consider a scheme to disqualify potential voting members from a competing faction, on the grounds that those voters had not re-newed their memberships. The factional leaders worried that their opponents would legitimately object to this tactic, since a mailing that called for members to renew hadn’t been properly sent out.
[In fact, 0bama used this technique to eliminate his opponents in several elections - leaving him unopposed, and easily elected to the Legislature and to the US Senate. In effect, he was able to negate the election for lack of opponents.]
The memo clearly demonstrates that, contrary to Rogers’s explanation, membership in the New Party entailed the right to vote on matters of party governance.
In fact, Obama’s own New Party endorsement, being controversial, was thrown open to a members’ vote on the day he joined the party.
Were Harwell and Rogers deliberately lying in order to protect Obama and deceive the public?
Readers can decide for themselves.
It is clear that Obama, through his official spokesman, Ben LaBolt, and the Fight the Smears website, was bent on deceiving the American public about a matter whose truth he well knew.
The documents reveal that the New Party’s central aim was to move the United States steadily closer to European social democracy, a goal that Mitt Romney has also attributed to Obama
New Party leaders disdained mainstream Democrats, considering them tools of business, and promised instead to create a partnership between elected officials and local community organizations, with the goal of socializing the American economy to an unprecedented degree.
The party’s official “statement of principles,” which candidates seeking endorsement from the Chicago chapter were asked to support, called for a “peaceful revolution” and included redistributive proposals substantially to the left of the Democratic Party.
To get a sense of the ideology at play, consider that the meeting at which Obama joined the Party opened with the announcement of a forthcoming event featuring the prominent socialist activist
Frances Fox Piven.

Oddly, Piven, a devout Socialist/Communist, was mentored for her doctoral dissertation by the arch-Conservative, Edward C. Banfield.}

In conclusion, 0bama's electoral path was manipulated and smoothed from community organizer to the US Senate, and from there, with the massive support of the Media, entered - and forever soiled the White House.

Obama's campaigns have been so eerily similar and his dirty tricks so numerous that no one can blame you for putting several of them together.
Just how deep were/are 0bama's communist connections?
1996 was the year Obama ran for the Illinois State Senate (this was the occasion of his infamous kickoff with (terrorists) Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn).

a) His closest advisor as a teen was Frank Marshall Davis, registered with the Communist Party of America [Card # 47544], and presumed by many to be Obama's biological father. Obama's book about his father seems to be about "Uncle Frank".

b) Davis worked with the Canter family, which spawned devout Communists Joseph and Myril Axelrod -- parents of David Axelrod, Obama's past and current strategist - he's now a "political consultant" and News luminary. According to documents on Wikipedia (since scrubbed), the Canters had lived in Moscow and worked as political advisors in Russia for the Stalin government prior to moving to Chicago.
Axelrod’s background shows how ideas, policies and rhetoric originating in Marxist-Leninist doctrine and anti-American propaganda have been “mainstreamed” into Democratic Party politics.
[As it turned out, most of the suspicions of the HUAC were accurate - but ridiculed by the News Media]
Canter and fellow Communist propaganist/activist Don Rose, met and became mentors to David Axelrod, shaping his political development.

That political strategy included thuggery, blackmail, official bribery, control of the News Media, and slanderous propaganda, and importantly, derailing opponents' administrative filings - eliminating them as candidates.[A prime example was the unseating of Adrian Fenty, very pro-business, and one of the most popular mayors in Washington, DC history due to his law-and-order successes as well as his revamping of the school system and imposition of efficiency in the DC governent. He was a shoe-in for re-election, but was eliminated when his administrative assistant "failed to deliver" his candidacy paperwork on time - thus succumbing to his opponent, Vincent Gray, a lack-luster politician who reversed Fenty's programs.]
These are the Left's strategies, which the 0bama team implemented.
His campaign staff kept challenging the signatures on the nominating petitions of his four rivals (including Alice Palmer, who had actually groomed him to take her place), and with persistence were able to get ALL FOUR of his rivals eliminated, as with the David Axelrod strategy to unseat Mayor Fenty in Washington, DC.
Thus 0bama ran unopposed for the Democratic nomination, and having obtained it simply walked into the office (no Republican would have had any chance in his Illinois district).
How easy it is to get elected when your opposition has been cleared out of the way!
Once elected, he voted on only about one third of the bills that came before the Illinois Senate including a "No" vote on the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, thus placing himself to the Left of even Hilary Clinton on the abortion issue.
Obama's path to becoming US Senator from Illinois was more complicated.

It appeared he would have to defeat both Blair Hull in the primary and Jack Ryan in the 2004 general election, both formidable opponents. The wealthy Hull in fact seemed certain to defeat Obama, having a large lead in the polls. But then somehow Hull's sealed divorce records were leaked to the media, and Obama managed to overtake him.

In what seemed like instant replay, Republican Jack Ryan's supposedly sealed divorce records were ALSO somehow made public, and he withdrew from the campaign, leaving the Republicans to run the hapless Alan Keyes at the last minute.
Once again, Obama won - but only after the opposition was cleared out of his way for him. So who did all the leaking? The "credit" is sometimes given to the media (the Chicago Tribune did file suit to open up the records), but those conservatives unfortunate enough to live in Illinois were inclined to see in it the hand of David Axelrod.

It also tends to make one wonder about exactly who found those women to accuse Herman Cain of having affairs with them.
Technically, therefore, Obama DID run without opposition in 1996 - but now you know the rest of the story.

Comments to Kurtz's article (below), amplify the questioning of 0bama's truthfulness, or, rather, his blatant lies on virtually every aspect of his campaign promises, or the programs he sponsored. In essence, he can only be described as a Pathological Liar [and a communist].
1) "
President Obama, promised that if I liked my current health insurance plan, I'd be able to keep it under the ACA. As of January 1, 2011, my plan, which I liked, had for years, and covered my children and me, was discontinued by my employer. This was DIRECTLY due to the passage of the so-called Affordable Health Care Act."
2) "The cost of medical services I needed such as X-rays, and of my health insurance with a high deductible increased immediately 25% across the board with the passage of the Stimulus (it contained a requirement for all health providers to report treatment to federal government, not just file claims with insurance companies, as phase-in for national health records database - so much for HIPPA and medical privacy - no longer private from the feds) and premiums for all must now cover elimination of the waiting period for pre-existing conditions to be covered, and for young adults to remain on their parent's policies as "children" until age 26. The impact on my wallet for myself and my spouse was severe enough to cause us to a) drop health insurance and
b) go without medical care and dental care that was sorely needed."
3) "Unemployment or maybe a few thousand more so-called green jobs or czars. He and his Dem friends threatened Martial law if some members didn't go along with his Obama Care Disaster. He has threatened to over-ride Supreme Court Justice decisions; does he not believe that our Constitution was set up to prevent a dictator. His weapon of choice is the drone and the collateral damage is horrific. I thought Hope and Change was all about transparency and he has not only hidden everything to do with his past, but his every move seems to be hidden."
4) "Give this power hungry liar four more years and there won't be a United States. We'll all be killed, incarcerated, broke, or involved in a revolution."
5) If Obama is re-elected, you can bet he will allow the tax on dividends and capital gains to increase back to their old levels. Thus, the tax on dividends will increase from 15% to 39.6%, and when Obamacare goes into effect, it will slap and additional 3.8% on top of that for a grand total of 43.4%. Do you understand how that will affect stock prices, and what that will do to businesses trying to raise capital, and the effect on Cost of Capital? To investing in general? Do you understand what that will do to people who are currently unemployed, and how that will make it damned hard for business to maintain their current levels of employment? And how increasingly difficult it will make businesses acquire capital? Do you have a clue at all about what effects Obamacare will have in the aggregate?

6) "My medical insurance policy premium went up approximately 22% to cover the costs of compliance with Obamacare. My dentist promptly stopped working with my carrier because they also reduced the amounts they'd pay out to him for services."
7) "No, I won't be TRULY happy to have to vote for Romney. I will, however, be completely elated to see Obama putting the White House in his rear view mirror. American taxpayer I don't feel Romney is the answer, but he is by far the better choice than Obama. This will be another election of selecting the best of the worst."
8) "I think Romney is the lesser of two EVILS... three, if somehow Hillary got into the fray"
9) "If as you've shown Democrats like Obama sought and received New Party membership and endorsement, did politicians from other parties "cross-pollinate" membership with the New Party? Specifically, were there any Chicago members of the New Party simultaneously proclaimed members of the CPUSA in 1996? Can it be shown that both Democrats like Obama and CPUSA members simultaneously belonged to the New Party and endorsed its ideals?"
10) "For a time in 2008, there was a very public endorsement of Obama by the CPUSA in the Community section of his campaign web site. It acknowledged Obama to be a candidate who most closely espoused their beliefs. (That endorsement quickly disappeared.)"
11) "I was in the financial industry leading up to, and during the financial crisis, so I may be able to offer some clarity. ACORN and other such groups were specifically targeting financial lending institutions with racism/discrimination based law suits on behalf of people who didn't qualify and meet the traditional lending standards.
Democrat Senators (e.g., Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi) lambasted financial regulations and sought to FORCE banks to GREATLY loosen the regulations and to lend to people who the bank (and the politicians) KNEW couldn't honestly afford the homes they were buying. Don't get me wrong, the banks were EQUALLY as guilty and more than willing to loosen the regulations, seeing as the Federal Government promised them they'd back their loans... and then stepped in to bail them out. (Remember 'Too Big To Fail' "?)
12) "You can thank first Pres. Carter, followed by Pres. Clinton for the Community Reinvestment Act."
13) "Once B Hussein wins second term, he'll never have to worry about winning another election. The massacre of innocent women and babies at Waco in 1993 will be child's play compared to B.O.'s intent to destroy his political enemies."

There were many influential Cubans who thought otherwise, but were drowned out (really intimidated) by the Media and the mob that posed as "The People". 0bama, just like Castro, is waiting for the right time when he has gone around constitutional constraints enough to get firm control over the reins of government and is able to sic "the people" on those who oppose him."
