Why read my blogs?
Because I know stuff.
Based on my life experience, I provide assessments of current or past events to provide you "the rest of the story" so you can understand what's actually happening and the threat to you and to the nation. I don't reveal secrets, but I do explain the impact of issues disclosed in the Media [e.g., Snowden's NSA revelations and Assange's disclosures of Deep State conspiracies, and disclosures of Hillary's role in supporting ISIS and the background of Benghazi].
Over the years, I've been a Teacher/Professor, Analyst, Advisor, Special Agent, Soldier, Spy or a "Spook". My background covers 30+ years in Intelligence Operations and Analysis, including operational assignments with the CIA, DIA, and NSA; I've also been an analyst and advisor at the Pentagon, the JCS, State Department, and the White House -- developing Military and Foreign Policy. On the secular side, I've taught upper level courses in Economics, International Business, and Government at the University of Maryland University College based on my experience in creating and managing small technology businesses and consulting with international technical infrastructure companies.
I've worked in the field with the best and the brightest, collecting and reporting intelligence from the depths of developing countries to international hot spots to produce accurate reporting on the World Stage actors, and to assess what goes on behind the scenes. I also created a Military detachment which trained virtually all (about 1,000) the US Army units [Active, Reserve, and National Guard] in each sector of Tactical Intelligence and exposing them to Strategic Intelligence assets [e.g., satellite monitoring] to make these units more effective in combat; subsequently, I created and commanded two other operational Intelligence detachments.
I've worked with dedicated diplomats, senior military officers, "honest" politicians, and journalists whose knowledge was extraordinary and whose loyalty was beyond question. I've also worked with and observed some of the most egregious charlatans and slime-balls in both the US and foreign governments. For the most part, I worked behind the scenes in Washington to strengthen the national defense; and, I worked with the folks who actually made things happen, rather than those on the Kabuki stage to entertain the Media and the generally ignorant public.
The committees, the bureaucrats, the popinjays are all there for show and to take credit in history for what a small group of insiders accomplish. My most revealing discovery though, is that the most serious threat to our national security comes from within [i.e., the Deep State, or shall we say, The Swamp]; and, that's what I mean when I say "I know stuff" since I've witnessed the potential for, and actual abuse by those in positions of power in the Intelligence and Law Enforcement Commuities.
After retiring from the Military, I served as an Advisor to the Army Intelligence Director's office, then ventured into the private sector where I reconfigured a failing consulting business into a highly profitable super-computer sales operation as a Reseller for Sun Microsystems and SGI [then - Cray] systems. In my free time, I was on the Adjunct Faculty of the University of Maryland - University College where I taught International Management. Later, I created and managed several computer companies and helped publish the "The Best of DC - Inaugural Edition" with my eldest son. I currently have a management consulting company which assists troubled companies regain their footing to become profitable again.

MY CREDENTIALS
At-Large Intelligence Advisor: Following 9/11, I coordinated with Ed Meese [Reagan's Attorney General]to restructure the eroded Intelligence Community which had missed/ignored all the indicators of the 9/11 attacks. We recommended the creation the position of Director of National Intelligence [DNI] to replace the Director of Central Intelligence [DCI]
[the DCI position was dissolved since the DCI directed both the CIA and the entire Intelligence Community (IC) -- a deterrent to interagency cooperation and sharing] which had allowed a single agency [CIA] to coerce the others into Intelligence "consensus" on matters of National Security!
The newly established DNI was envisioned as a small, coordinating office in the existing IC headquarters office and would facilitate a streamlined and efficient intelligence collection and distribution process, staffed by no more than 100 employees; instead, the DNI bureaucracy has mushroomed to nearly 1,800 employees, and the Intelligence Community is now exponentially larger and far less efficient than it was at its peak in 1990 -- with virtually no sharing.
