John Dowd [a real Marine] chastises Mattis  
for his obeisance to the Left.

As we learned during our Military service, sometimes 

generals aren't worth the smoke they blow, and 
deserve to be reduced in grade to Private-E2.  

Mattis is more than a disappointment. 

It appears he has become a communist.

Jim:

I slept on your statement and woke up appalled and upset. You lost me. Never dreamed you would let a bunch of hack politicians use your good name and reputation – earned with the blood and guts of young Marines.

You did what you said you would – engage in this discourse. Marines keep their word.

The phony protesters near Lafayette park were not peaceful and are not real. They are terrorists using idle hate-filled students to burn and destroy. They were abusing and disrespecting the police when the police were preparing the area for the 1900 curfew. 

Jim, this is the new nihilism. 

Did you forget that President Bush used active duty Marines to quell the riots in LA? 

President Trump has countless cities and some snowflake governors and mayors wetting themselves in the use of force to protect innocent lives and property. 

The AG of Massachusetts thinks burning property is good protest. 

Three more policemen were stabbed and shot in NYC last night.

Think about it. 

Should he be upset about the obvious failure of leadership?

Marines go to the fight.

No one divided this country more than Obama. 

He abandoned our black brothers and sisters. 
He gave guns to the cartels. 
He  apologized for our precious sacrifice and generosity overseas. 

You remember, Obama fired you.

President Trump has done more to help our minority brothers and sisters in three years than anyone in the last fifty. 

Ask the black pastors. 
Ask the leaders of the black colleges and universities. 
He got them funded. 
Ask them about the prison reform which ended the draconian sentences imposed on young black men by the laws enacted by Biden and his hacks. 

You need to bone up on your homework and stop listening to Uncle Leon.

I understand, you had to stick to the assigned narrative which did not include three years of corrupt investigations and evidence to destroy the President, his office, and his lawful free election. 

Nancy has no tolerance for dissent in the ranks – including those with stars.

You said nothing of the ugly, hate filled, disgraceful comments of Pelosi, Schumer, Perez and other Democrat hacks defaming the President and his office. 

You said nothing of the unlawful sanctuary cities and the unlawful release of hoodlums. 

You said nothing of the resistance movement to paralyze our courts and our government operations. You said nothing of the obstruction and subversion of our immigration laws. 

You said nothing of MS-13 killers and the drug cartels who own huge sections of our major cities.

Jim, do you think that hateful rhetoric and those corrupt actions were inspiring and unifying? 

Do you think the DI's at Parris Island would find such behavior as unifying?

Maybe, your problem, is a lot deeper. 

Trump Ends Soleimani's Reign of Terror

Perhaps you ought to explain how and why you (and John Allen), as CG Central Command, did not engage and take out Iranian Major General Soleimani who roamed the Middle East and wreaked havoc and death of our American boys with his infamous IEDs?

Why did it take President Trump to have the instincts and balls to take him out 

(of course over the objection of the geniuses in the Pentagon)?

Looks like the Persian mullahs were a one horse sleigh and Trump nailed the horse . . . forever. 

It has been quiet ever since. 

Perhaps, your anger is borne of embarrassment for your own failure as the leader of Central Command. 

Did you applaud when the President recognized the central problem in the Middle East? 

Did you applaud the President when he wanted to save American lives by bringing them home in one piece?

NFL Anti-Patriotism

A US Marine takes a knee

We are told the NFL players are free to exercise their Right of Free Speech; and we agree.

However, the football field, and in uniform, are not the venue. Just as US soldiers were allowed to protest the Vietnam War, but outside Military installations, in civilian clothes, not in uniform, and speaking not as US soldiers, but as private citizens.

We encourage NFL players to remove their uniforms and carry picket signs, and march in front of the White House, or perhaps the statue of Lincoln in Washington, or at the WW2 Memorials, or the Vietnam Memorials, or at Arlington Cemetery where all those who gave their lives defending Freedom of Speech for everyone, even young athletes, many of whom have police records for rape, assault, drugs, and violent crimes, are now millionaires for spending a few months playing football.

The Right to Free Speech, however, is limited, not by the federal or local governments, but. amazingly enough, by the NFL.  The NFL Rule Book is specific, on page A62,63, pertaining to the National Anthem.

The National Football League Rule Book states: 

“The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem.

The ONLY player to take the field!

[On Gold Star Mothers Day [honoring mothers of soldiers killed in action, the Pittsburgh Steelers remained in their locker room, with only one player on the field, saluting, and singing the National Anthem; that would be the only player on the team to have served in the Military, with three tours in Afghanistan and a Bronze Star]

“During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking.

"The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition.".

"...It should be pointed out to players and coaches that they continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

Now, we all enjoy a good game of football.
However, in recent years, the leadership of the NFL seems to have promoted the idea that NFL players are above the law, and that criminal records are meaningless in recruitment programs and keeping players on the field.

Although the list of players and records is incomplete, it's significant to note that the NFL Record shows 869 Arrests for a range of offenses including drugs, domestic violence, assault, battery, weapons, DUI, Hit&Run, reckless driving, etc.   Virtually every case was finished with "Resolution Undetermined, Case Dropped, two days in jail, or, home detention [except during games].

Although there are many fine professional football players, it seems that there is a significant element adhering to the illusion that they need not pay attention to Rules, or the Law.

We wonder if the NFL has become a breeding ground, or a haven for criminals.




Perhaps it's time to replace Roger Goodell as NFL Commissioner and replace him with an executive more in tune with the fabric of America.

Obama Returns Gitmo to Castro

Obama is giving Guantanamo back to Cuba

While we're distracted with electioneering, President Obama has been busily negotiating away Guantanamo.

But, but, but that's unconstitutional!

Now, those educated in the Constitution [e.g., Senator Cruz] will leap to the fore to state that mean old Barack Obama had better not negotiate a treaty with Cuba to return Gitmo to the Cubans.

Why, that would be unconstitutional, and EVERYONE who knows the Constitution KNOWS that the Prez absolutely, positively MUST consult with Congress and seek its permission before he engages in negotiating a treaty, or any kind of diplomatic engagement.

But, in reality, Obama needn't bother Congress with his current maneuvering.

I got three right.

At the moment, he's pressuring the review board examination of Gitmo prisoners to release more prisoners.

Over the next few months, the board will have released the majority of them, leaving a minimum group to be dealt with; and Obama doesn't have to have any visibility in the process.

I am omnipotent!

The moment of truth, however, will come when Obama dons his Military Commander in Chief hat, when he

1) Orders the Military to transfer the remaining Gitmo prisoners to Leavenworth Military Detention Barracks, and

2) Orders the Marine Commandant to ship back all Marines currently stationed at Guantanamo.

3) After a few weeks, Castro will fill the facility with Cubans, and it will become occupied territory by Cuban squatters.

4) Obama can  ignore Congress' demands to retake the facility until he leaves office on 20 January 2017, and his replacement would have to literally declare war on Cuba to retake the facility.

And Obama will have pulled off still another end-run around Congress.

It's a shell game, but wait and see.

This is how it will play out, and the US will have no further control of Gitmo, and Obama will have the last laugh.
