Congressman Ken Buck [CO-4th District] was interviewed and disclosed all the dirty tricks on Capitol Hill, and how it is that Congresspersons and Senators start off by pinching pennies but end their careers as multi-millionaires.  

A former federal prosecutor, Buck has been in Congress less than three years. He says his education from Washington DC’s school of hard knocks began right after his election during his orientation trip to the Capitol.

Representative Ken Buck:
The game here is not to take a tough vote.
Nobody wants to take a tough vote, Democrats and Republicans, there’s a quiet conspiracy going on that
‘If you don’t make me take a tough vote I won’t make you take a tough vote.’

He says a “tough vote” means anything that cuts spending or programs that benefit political and corporate interests, and the result is that the ability to cut federal programs or to reduce spending in other ways, or to get our tax structure under control- simplify the tax structure is very, very difficult. And that results in higher spending.  He says it’s why Congress consistently spends wildly more money than it receives from taxpayers: $600 billion last year alone.

And, why the federal debt has been allowed to balloon to record levels:
the US owes about $20 trillion dollars it doesn’t have on hand.

Sheryl Attkison

Sharyl Attkisson [Interviewer]:
Is there an element of that Democrats and Republicans may appear to disagree with things in public and yet privately agree because sometimes they cater to the same interests?

Buck:
Sure, I think Democrats and Republicans disagree on some social issues and make a big deal out of that, and disagree on some other major issues. But for the most part, there’s agreement behind-the-scenes not to make waves and to get things done quietly. Not good things, but things that involve spending more money. If I scratch your back you’ll scratch my back.

Sharyl: 
Is what you describe what some Americans might call ‘The Establishment’?

Buck:
Absolutely. The Establishment consists of the Republican leadership and the Democrat leadership getting along and pretending not to. But clearly getting along!

And that’s when a lot of the rules were explained to us about the dues to the NRCC other requirements.[
[Buck said he was stunned to find the NRCC [National Republican Congressional Committee] just like its counterpart for Democrats,; it requires hefty party dues, especially if members hope to aspire to meaningful committee positions.

Buck:
It’s mildly offensive to think that to serve on a committee in Congress you need to pay a private political organization dues, and that’s what they were asking for.

Sharyl:
Did you have any idea before you were elected that that was the case?

Rep. Buck:
I did not know that there were mandatory dues here, no.

Sharyl:
How did they tell you?

Buck: 
Ah, well it’s not a big secret. They have a big chart in the National Republican Congressional Committee offices, and you can see everybody’s name and the dues that they owe and how much they’ve paid.

Sharyl:
What was going through your mind when you started to hear this news?

Buck:
Well, as Freshmen we have to raise $200,000 and that’s a lot of money. You know I just finished campaigning and raising money, and now I had to go back to donors and ask them for money again.  Rep. He says to meet fundraising quotas, members of Congress spend hour upon hour of public work time asking for money from the very interests they’re supposed to oversee, ending up beholden to them instead of the public at large.

Sharyl: 
For people who really have no idea how things work up here, can you tell us how the special interests and corporate interests, for example, actually influence members? How does that happen? R

Buck:

Rags to Riches by election to Congress

It starts with committee assignments.

If you’re on the transportation and infrastructure committee, the transportation bill will come before your committee and all over town there will be receptions and the members on the Transportation Committee will be invited to those receptions, expected to attend those receptions and receive donations as a result of that.

They know the easy money, the low-hanging fruit, is gonna be at receptions that are given right before a major piece of legislation goes to committee.

Everything is called ‘across the street’ because at the Capitol behind me, you can’t accept money there. You can’t give money there, but once you walk across the street, then the bags open up.

Sharyl Attkisson: 
Restaurants around here?

Buck:
Restaurants: the Republicans, the Capitol Hill Club has a lot of different receptions and dinners. Industries paying for those receptions and dinners include tobacco, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, TV broadcasting, beer and wine, defense and Hollywood.

Democrats have their own fundraising hangout nearby: The National Democratic Club.

I’ve attended receptions where I’ve had 10, 12 corporations represented and they have made their case to me on why they need me to vote a certain way on a piece of legislation. And I know that if I accommodate them, I will have a reception later on where they will support me.

Sharyl Attkisson: 
You’re describing an entire system where almost every consideration that ought to be for constituents is instead about special interests and corporate interests and donations.

Buck: 
It surprised me when I got here and I’ve been involved in politics since I was a teenager, and getting to this place is really shocking to see the influence that money has in politics.

[Early on, Buck challenged GOP leadership on a vote he felt would give President Obama too much power on trade issues.  Republican leaders retaliated by trying to oust him as president of his freshman class. But he went on a public offensive and survived. He says he’s watched colleagues get punished for doing what they think is right instead of what party bosses demand; booted from committee positions and even denied dining room privileges.] 

Buck: 
The incentive structure right now is to vote for more money.
You never vote for less money, because someone’s gonna get mad if you vote for less money. And so as long as the American public doesn’t stand up and demand that members of Congress are accountable, Congress will continue acting the way it does.

Sharyl: 
Do you think a lot of people come to Washington really hoping it will be different and planning to work for their constituents and just find out it can’t be done?

Buck: 
I absolutely think most members come here with the best intentions. And I think within a year or two they realize that there is no hope of changing this place. And a lot of them leave fairly early on. Others become disillusion
ned and some others just settle into the swamp and enjoy it.

Sharyl Attkisson: 
I’ve not heard another sitting member of Congress talk about these things.
What happens to you now because of this?

Buck:
 You know I didn’t come here with any friends, Sharyl, and I’m not leaving with any friends and I’m okay with that. I didn’t come here to make friends. And so, if I’m gone in a couple of years, I did what I came here to do and that’s hopefully make Americans aware that this place is broken.

Buck says solutions include requiring a balanced budget meaning Congress wouldn't be able to spend more money than it has and they'd be forced to make the tough choices they now avoid and term limits to restrict the number of years people can serve in Congress.

Trump's Growing Cabinet of Powerful Congressmen

With the variety of Cabinet and Agency appointments, President Trump can now partially reshape the Congressional Conservative complexion.

Interior Secretary Zinke

1)  Ryan K Zinke leaves his slot as Congressman from Montana to serve as Secretary of the Interior, bringing new lifeblood and considerable experience to the office.

    a)  An outdoorsman and career US Navy SEAL, he will likely reorganize his department and depoliticize it.  For one, he gains the immediate respect of the national Park Police, who were mortified facing off with angry Veterans who found their Military monuments closed or cordoned off by Obama.

   b)  Zinke will likely reshape the Bureau of Indian Affairs, a cesspool of political appointees who have gouged the Indian tribes and violated countless US government treaties.
   

LaVoy Finicum

c)  The Bureau of Land Management will likely go through a major overhaul, with that swamp drained of faceless bureaucrats tormenting and destroying private property rights of land-owners in the West.  We expect an internal investigation of the execution of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, a rancher, foster parent, and spokesman for a property rights group in Oregon.



     b)  His replacement will be appointed by Governor Bullock [D], a Conservative Democrat who will likely appoint a Conservative to replace Zinke.

OMB Director Mulvaney

2)   Mick Mulvaney, formerly Congressman from South Carolina, has been appointed Director of the OMB [Office of Management of the Budget, a position critical to President Trump in managing funds for the Administration's operations.  

      a)  He has monitored crypto currencies [e.g., Bitcoin] and block chain technologies which will become increasingly important in financial operations of the future; notably, President Obama fought the emergence of BitCoin as he could not control this alternate currency.

      b) Mulvaney's replacement will now be appointed by SC's Governor Henry McMaster [R], who will likely appoint a staunch Pro-Trump Conservative to Congress to replace Mulvaney.

c)  Trump apparently appointed Left leaning Nikki Haley to the United Nations, perhaps to remove her from any semblance of power in the South; she had become an embarrassment in pandering to the Political Correct crowd, to include acquiescing to demands to remove the Confederate Flag.  Without the basis of the Governor's position, her political career may be over.

HHS Director Tom Price

3)  Tom Price, formerly Congressman [R]  from Georgia, a physician appointed as the Secretary of Health and Human Services [HHS], which houses 80,000 employees with a budget of over $1 Trillion.

      a), will be responsible for reforming and replacing ObamaCare, and has the full support of Speaker Ryan.

       b)  Equally important, Price will likely pull together the disparate elements of HHS which are known for their infighting and inefficiencies, not to speak of their vast oversight and mismanagement of the Welfare system.

      c)  Also important is Price's oversight of the Food & Drug Administration [FDA] which reportedly sold out long ago to the Pharmaceuticals [Big Pharma]

           (1) It has blocked research and development of countless cures for cancers and other diseases.  Oncology has become one of the most profitable ventures in the medical industry, and Big Pharma earns hundreds of billions of dollars each year by charging huge amounts for oncology medications.   

          (2)  It has also blocked identification of country of origin for food and health products entering the US.  Price will be expected to reverse this p olicy and once again demand "country of origin" labels on these products.

4)  Xavier Becerra [D], son of Mexican immigrants, resigned from the House to accept his appointment as Attorney General of California.  He had been Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus.

CIA Director Pompeio

5)  Mike Pompeo,  a  Tea Party Republican from Kansas and West Point graduate, served on the House Intelligence Committee [HPSCI] which is now headed by Devin Nunes [who declined to investigate Trump's ties to Russia labeling the charges "nonsense"].  Governor Brownback [R] of Kansas, with the support of Bob Dole, will replace Pompeo with a worth Conservative. 

[Brownback turned down an HHS ObamaCare grant of $31 million]

    a) Pompeo also served on the Energy and Commerce Committees where he gained considerable insight into two of the primary issues involving Intelligence gathering [in previous administrations] which have led to international confrontations.  

    b) He also served on the Benghazi Committee where he slammed Hillary during her testimony.  His close cooperation with Trey Gowdy on that Committee will likely open new levels of investigation into Benghazi and Hillary's connection to illicit activities leading to the deaths of Americans coming to the rescue of the Consulate there.

c)  He has stated that he will not resume the use of torture as a method of interrogation and we suspect he will come to terms with President Trump on this issue.  Common sense will prevail.

[NOTE: During the Vietnam War, we conducted hundreds of successful interrogations, receiving the highest recognition from CIA and DIA for the reports.  None of these interrogations involved torture]

d)  Expect the CIA hierarchy to attack Pompeo in the same ad hominem methods which forced the removal of his W-appointed predecessor, Porter Goss, who attempted to reform the CIA.  This will be an exceptionally difficult task for Pompeo and we wish him well.

[NOTE:  Given the history of CIA, particularly under Obama, we would recommend that the Covert Mission be turned over to DOD, returning CIA to solely Clandestine missions, or, perhaps, eliminating  CIA operations altogether - leaving Clandestine Operations to the Defense Clandestine Service and making the CIA an analysis organization.]

These are critical changes in the House.

The results mean that, in addition to Cabinet Members who have made their personal fortunes based on hard work and enterprise and who have considerable levels of expertise in their new positions, the Congressmen appointed all have superb backgrounds and can be expected to perform effectively and reduce the size of their Departments and Agencies, trimming them to workable organizations rather then massive, faceless bureaucracies.  Think of HHS with 80,000 employees and a budget of over a trillion dollars; there's plenty of room for reform there.

Each of these Congressmen left critical positions in Congress and each will be replaced by Conservative governors.  The replacements will likely not be neophytes, but will challenge the incumbent GOP leadership under President Trump.

It's a new dawn in Congress, and The [corrupt] Establishment is losing its grip.  

Trump Disses Intelligence Community

The Hill, a formerly reputable and objective journal of activities on Capitol Hill and the White House, published a piece by Julian Hattem, a very young reporter whose political zeal has seemingly tainted his reporting ability; his previous experience came as an intern on the Huffington Post and a stringer for the Japanese newspaper Ymiuri Shimbun -- notable for continuously denying the Comfort Women controversy [Journalism has plummeted in reliability in recent years as the old professionals were laid off when News Outlets ditched journalists with experience and ethics, and replaced them with children posing as adults, whose reporting would be better placed on Saturday Night Live].

This young reporter's headline appeared on Facebook as follows:

"Trump says he doesn't trust US intelligence just before classified briefing"
followed by this quote
" 'I won't use them because they've made such bad decisions' Trump claimed."

Naturally, this partial quote set the internet ablaze as lots of DNC  and GOP trolls and self-appointed national security experts jumped on this quote as evidence that Trump has no business being President if he's not going to listen to the Intelligence Community.

All the Intel that's fit to print

[Oddly, none of these critics have raised more than an eyebrow over the fact that Obama rarely takes the morning Intelligence Brief, and generally completely ignores the daily President's Briefing Book.]

But, then again, we have Hillary, who did take the morning brief from State INR [Bureau of Intelligence and Research], and then copied Top Secret Codeword material onto her emails and cell phone texts, revealing extremely sensitive intelligence information pertaining to "Sources and Methods", and in at least one documented case, outed the identity of an Iranian nuclear scientist who had been recruited to spy on Iran's nuclear capabilities.  The Iranians arrested and executed him.

Now, our stalwart young reporter would likely have been counseled had Ben Bradlee been his editor, but, Ben is no longer with us, sadly, and much of journalism's professionalism died with him.  And, we can't be sure if the headline and lead was actually Hattem's, or was created by a politically biased editor at The Hill.

So, let's examine young Hattem's story, as it unwinds beyond the headline --

"...Trump said he does not trust information coming out of US intelligence agencies and indicated he would cease relying on the bulk of the intelligence community's massive workforce."
[we added italics, underlining, and color to emphasize the nuance of Trump's statement]

Trump's more complete statement:
"Very easy to use them, but I won't use them because they've made such bad decisions"
referring to intelligence failures leading to the invasion of Iraq in 2003 based on the Intelligence Briefing Bush received which declared Saddam had Weapons of Mass Destruction!  

Notably, those WMDs never materialized, and Bush came under constant criticism from all sides, to include our allies.  Financially, the Iraq War(s) will have an estimated tab of nearly $4 Trillion, plus an expected $490 billion in benefits owed to the war veterans, a death toll of up to 189,000 security forces, insurgents, contractors, and humanitarian workers, and of course, close to 5,000 US Military casualties.

Iraq, without a strong leader to rule the myriad religious sects, many led by fanatical extremists, and now overrun with terrorist factions, is in shambles and will likely not return to its relatively quiet status of its days under the thumb of Saddam.  Currently, Iraq, once the 12th largest oil producer and exporter, can barely meet its own needs for fuel and will require close to $100 billion to rebuild its dilapidated production infrastructure.

"If we had never touched it, it would have been a lot better."

That's pretty much the conclusion that most observers have reached given the horrendous results.

Our Intelligence Community, then headed by the intellectually challenged,  professionally inexperienced, political hack  George Tenet came up with a National Intelligence Estimate [NIE] that claimed we could save the region from a possible nuclear war if we invaded and killed Saddam.

Well, we invaded, blasted the daylights out of Iraq several times, defeated their military quite readily, executed Saddam without much of a legal process, left the country leaderless [our hand-picked successor was shot and killed as he triumphantly exited the US plane in Iraq], and, emplaced a massive US Military occupation force since drawn down, but rebuilding as we speak to deal with ISIS/ISIL, an outgrowth of al Qaeda now linked, via Wikileads, to support from Hillary Clinton and President Obama.

What did we accomplish?

We disrupted Iraq, opening it to strife amongst all its tribes and religious sects who have all been competing for power; and, we have created tens of thousands of new enemies there who were previously our friends, but are now our bitter enemies.  We've converted our allies there to what we call "terrorists", i.e., those who hate us and wish to do us harm.  [For an in-depth read on this conversion, we recommend serious students read Rick Francona's book Ally to Adversary.]

But wait!  There's more!

Our Intelligence Community, still led by George Tenet, failed to recognize the threat to the US which came in the form of the attack on the World Trade Center [WTC] on 9/11/2001.

Oddly, the FBI was provided a Philippine Police report which provided accurate details of the plan to attack the WTC -- which was completely ignored at the FBI and the DCI.



It was Tenet's job to coordinate the efforts of all the US Intelligence agencies as well as to work with the foreign intelligence agencies of our friends and allies.  A post-mortem of our intelligence failures leading to 9/11 indicated pure stove-piping of intelligence reports, disruptive competition, and, ultimately, failure to share information of intelligence value.  Astoundingly, Bush did not fire Tenet, but kept him on to create the WMD fiasco leading us into the perpetual Iraq War, and even more devastating, the war in Afghanistan -- home to al Qaeda, which Osama bin Laden reportedly led.

Beginning in 2001, a Military response was created to find Osama bin Laden, reportedly the mastermind of the 9/11 attack -- although that notion was questioned early on, and remains in question.  But, we dispatched Special Forces troops who were quite adept at finding anyone, anywhere [recall they tracked down Che Guevera in South America], particularly since they had worked closely with the Taliban and could have tracked down Osama, had the Intelligence Community been functional; but it wasn't, and the US declared war on Afghanistan as our new official enemy; so we bombed them, and attacked them because our Tenet's Intelligence Community declared them the enemy.

And, by Gawd, they became our enemy, and created terrorist cells, and fought back against the US onslaught which grew into a massive war, with a new regional headquarters known as CENTCOM, which created Military and Intelligence reports of limited to no value in conducting the war.

As time went on, and ISIS grew from a cell of al Qaeda-Iraq, and it has now come to light that "US Military leaders altered intelligence reports 'to paint a rosier picture' of the US-led fight against ISIS than Intelligence analysts believed was warranted."

According to Brigadier General Tata, he was directed by
"an individual from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence who conducts the President's Daily Brief, to stop producing 'products of record' that did not fit the Administration's narrative of a defeated al Qaeda and a non-threatening enemy in ISIS."

SecDef MacNamara Briefs Bogus Intel

 Well, having been an Intelligence analyst for a number of years, we can assure you that such directives are not unusual.  We recall seeing Intelligence estimates briefed at the Five O'Clock Follies as press briefings in Vietnam restructured to validate General Westmoreland's bogus body counts and "victories" which never occurred, and his assurances that we had "... won the hearts and minds of the Vietnamese people" -- which was absolute drivel since the South Vietnamese distrusted and hated us almost as much as the North Vietnamese. Interestingly, most of the Viet Cong were South Vietnamese soldiers whom we had equipped.

At the Pentagon, in the Carter Administration, our colleague who managed the Korea desk, was pressed to portray North Korea as a burgeoning threat capable of overrunning South Korea; this followed Major General Singlaub's personal views of the North Korean threat.  Carter was advised that Singlaub was an idiot, and fired him.

Notably, North Korea is repeatedly being touted as a major threat, and we have been pleased to describe in detail why it is not a threat in a blog post a while back.

US Forces Moved into Honduras

We were also pressed by the Deputy Chief of Staff for [Army] Intelligence [Lt General Odom] to tout the Central American insurgents as a major threat to the region, thus justifying the deployment of a brigade from the 82d Airborne Division to El Salvador, plus a massive build up of US forces in Honduras to engage Nicaragua.

[In reality, we assessed Nicaragua as the most dangerous threat, particularly as it spawned the Liberation Theology [Maryknoll Missionary] Communist movement to engage the region.

Interestingly, we found that the sister [a Maryknoll nun and political advisor to Daniel Ortega] of Speaker of the House Tip O'Neil received a phone call on Ortega's office phone disclosing a Top Secret briefing we had just delivered to him.
[We subsequently met with O'Neil and recommended he end his political career rather than facing charges of Treason, and he complied.]

82d Airborne Division

To inflict reason on the engagement of US troops in El Salvador, we dismissed the concept of deploying an airborne brigade of blond haired, blue eyed gringos who would become targets of all four guerrilla organizations, but also any of the roving gangs terrorizing San Salvador.

In its place, we recommended an advisory unit of 55 trainers in each military specialty; Congress agreed, and authorized that deployment, limiting it permanently to 55 US advisors.

Even with these precautions, one of the advisors was assassinated within months of the arrival of the 55 advisors.


While we were the Editor of the Black Book [content was Top Secret Codeword] at the Pentagon  - which was distributed to the Intelligence Community [IC] executives and to the White House, we gained positive recognition as the most accurate publisher of unbiased Intelligence in the Community; and it was not unusual for disgruntled analysts from other agencies in the IC  to visit us carrying intelligence reports and analysis which their superiors had suppressed for political reasons.  Once we checked out the validity of the reports, we then added them to our Black Book, bringing these issues to attention of the entire Community -- and the National Security Council, forcing the issue back to the disgruntled analyst, now in elevated status, for detailed clarification.

Forgotten POWs

[At that time, the Defense Intelligence Agency was led by an array of Leftists left over from the Carter Administration whose acolytes remained in the shadows, but later rose to senior executive positions; it was DIA which suppressed intelligence on the post-war existence and location of US prisoners of war for political reasons, leading the North Vietnamese to execute hundreds of US POWs as they no longer served the purpose of bargaining chips.]



Later, our analyst colleagues were pressed to suppress intelligence information on Osama bin Laden, lest he be removed as s potential threat under President Clinton -- which resulted in multiple missed opportunities to capture him.  But, under George W Bush,  the NeoCons led his National Security Council to persuade him to invade Iraq, over the protests of the Intelligence Community.

And, of course, in the Obama Administration, the IC has pretty much been left alone to do its own thing, with Obama pretty much ignoring everything they have to say.  That of course, has not prevented NSA and the DNI from expanding their operations to target US citizens as potential terrorists, as pointed out by Fast Eddie Snowden, but, we've already discussed those issues.

Bottom Line:

Trump has been advised of, and recognizes that the assessments of the US Intelligence Community are generally inaccurate and corrupted by politically motivated executives.  That's not to say that the analysts are not excellent, but that, instead, the superb analytical products of the dedicated professionals at the base of the Intelligence Community are corrupted by senior staff to match the political statement of the day.

So, for him to advise that he will not accept most of what they produce and brief him on is to say that he recognizes that the IC leadership has consistently abused its status, and that its products are all too often suspect as politically motivated.

Trump was correct in his assessment of Intelligence Community estimates:

I won't use them because they've made such bad decisions!
[As a businessman, Trump has had to rely on trusted advisors; we don't think he can trust the IC]

In the wake of Mr Trump's designation of his future Attorney General -- Trey Gowdy, we'd like to review the most desirable appointments to key Cabinet posts, with our rationale

[Disclaimer: we have no control over whom Trump selects]

President Trump, on assuming the Presidency, following a landslide victory not seen since Reagan's massive win against Jimmy Carter in 1980.  The voters, this time, demanded CHANGE -- i.e., throw out the rascals in the Oval Office and all of Obama's appointees an Socialist generals, and hopefully, evict all the Congresspersons and Senators who have allowed Obama and his cabal to run roughshod over the US Constitution, our citizens and our nation.

Secretary of State:  
Jim Webb
1)  Marine officer, awarded the Navy Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star [for Valor], Purple Heart
2)  Law degree from Georgetown University and Instructor at the US Naval Academy
3)  Assistant SecDef for Reserve Affairs; Secretary of the Navy
4)  US Senator [Va-D]
5)  Will provide Trump expert advice on Military and Diplomatic issues
6)  Understands both the House and the Senate and how to move legislation through.
7)  Will restructure the State Department to rid it of Left Wing radicals and select professionals for all key positions, and promote deserving career diplomats for ambassadorships.
8  The worst nightmare for the DNC/GOP cabal if they attempt to assassinate Trump [as they did with Reagan].  Webb would nail each conspirator to the wall and restructure both the DNC and the GOP.
9)  Will draw the votes of Democrats who are disgusted with Hillary or Bernie, as well as undecided Independent voters.

Secretary of Homeland Security: 
Rudy Giuliani
1)  A national hero who took the lead in the 9/11 crisis.  Knows his way around politics and can be counted on to remain Conservative in Economics and on Immigration issues.
2)  A backstop in the event the Establishment attempts to kill Trump as they did with Reagan; he won't hesitate to prosecute corrupt Congressional Representatives and Senators; look out Ryan, Boehner, McConnnell, Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, et al.
3)  He took on the mob, neutralized them, and somehow, he's still alive!
4)  Will eliminate the useless bureaucracy of 250,000 employees, cut the budget to realistic levels, and demilitarize DHS and eliminate its anti-American posture and redirect towards the external threat.
5)  Will eliminate DHS role in escorting illegals into the US, and reorient them to focus on neutralizing the illegal threat from within.

Attorney General:  
Trey Gowdy
1)  Demonstrated his intensity and tenacity in pursuing the Benghazi Hearings; fought off Boehner and Congressional pressure to force him to drop the investigation which would have revealed GOP complicity in the Administration's scheme.
2)  Can be counted on to pursue Hillary Clinton and the Obama Communist cabal, to include the Muslim Brotherhood operatives in the US Government.
3) Will indict and prosecute corrupt Congressional Representatives and Senators
[Look out Boehner, Ryan, Pelosi, McConnell, Boxer, et al.]

Secretary of Defense:
Allen West
1)  Former Congressman from Florida [Armed Services Committee]
2)  Army private, rose to rank of Colonel; Military Commander, deployed to Iraq Iraq [Desert Shield/Desert Storm
3)  Political Commentator
4)  Will purge political flag rank officers and promote combat-experienced officers to the highest ranks.
6)  Will restructure the Military into a realistic command structure rather than the Soviet-style Obama Military
7)  George Will hates him

Secretary of Commerce:  
Darrell Issa
1) Congressman [CA-R] Benghazi Probe
2) US Army Explosives Ordnance Disposal Specialist
3) US Army officer, rated as "Unlimited Potential"
4) Businessman, bought and turned around a failing car alarm company; started up Quantum Electronics for car security, coordinate with car manufacturers, and built his company into a highly profitable company.
5) Introduced [passed] the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act making federal expenditures transparent.
6) Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
7) Expected to be very supportive of small business

Secretary of Treasury:  
Newt Gingrich

1) Former Speaker of the House [1995-1999], led US voters to oust Democrat Congressional Representatives based on their profligate spending supporting Clinton programs.
2) Co-authored the Contract With America to cut wasteful government spending and balanced the budget.
3)  Restructured Welfare under the Welfare Reform Act and overrode Clinton's vetoes.
     a) Gave state governments autonomy over Welfare Delivery
     b)  Reduced federal government role in Welfare
     c)  Placed time limits on welfare assistance
     d)  Created stricter conditions on food stamp eligibility, and restrictions on immigrant welfare
     e)  Created work requirements for all welfare recipients
4)  Passed the Taxpayer Relief Act [1997]  which reduced taxes on capital gains [spurring private investment [Democrats today give Clinton credit for this act, which Clinton opposed]
5)  Passed the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 which subjected Congress to the same laws that apply to businesses and American citizens in general.
6)  Knows all the ins and outs of Capitol Hill and how to bring all Parties and partisans together in the national interest.  Trump could not have a better political advisor.
7)  Knows how to handle Media attack dogs and the Establishment pressure mongers.
8)  Knows where all the skeletons are on Capitol Hill.
9)  Understands the role of the Presidency, and particularly the Budget Process for streamlining federal expenses.
10)  Fully understands how to reform the US budget process and limit the powers of the Fed.

Secretary of Health & Human Services:  
Ben Carson
1)  Presidential Candidate
2)  Noted neurosurgeon; director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins
3)  Yale grad
4)  Trusted Trump advisor
5)  Will likely revamp ObamaCare to eliminate unconstitutional aspects.
6)  Will likely streamline HHS to eliminate useless bureaucracy and trim budget

Secretary of Transportation:  
Tom Davis

1) Former Congressman [Va-R] [Moderate]
2) Chair: Republican Congressional Committee [1998 - 2002]
3) Chair: House Government Reform Committee [2003 - 2007]
4) Investigated George Soros for his attempts to buy Washington Nationals [baseball team]
[Soros retaliated by launching a scandal campaign against Davis]

Secretary of the Interior:

2) Took on Exxon and the other oil companies operating in Alaska and forced them to stop polluting and also toreturn some of the profits to the citizens, effectively eliminating the state income tax.
3) Will likely review oil company operations in the US to ensure environmental responsibility as well as safe transport.
4) Will restructure Bureau of Indian Affairs to honor treaties with the Indian nations and provide assistance as needed to Native Americans.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs:  
General James Mattis
1)  Military professional
2)  Understands the needs of Veterans
3)  Has no tolerance for corruption or useless bureaucracy
4)  Will likely fire the top tier of VA administrators, promote professionals from within, and appoint professionals from the Military retired ranks.

Commissioner: Customs and Border Protection: 
Joe Arpaio
1) Sheriff of Maricopa County, AZ since 1993
    a) Led the challenger against Illegal Immigration
    b) Brought law enforcement to a new level of effectiveness in
         his jurisdiction
    c) Developed a highly effective and admired prisoner
        incarceration program
    d) Under constant attack by the Obama Administration
        due to Arpaio's national popularity in law enforcement
2)  Expected to renew and solidify border enforcement and to back Border Patrol Police monitoring the whereabouts and activities of illegals in the US.



We will designate potential candidates for other Cabinet [and supporting posistions] as they emerge.  
We removed:
a)  Paul Ryan as a candidate for the Secretary of the Treasury after watching him bow and scrape to Obama and turn against US citizenry by promoting legislation which would increase taxes and government spending for worthless government programs.
b) David Petraeous as Secretary of State given his appearance as a key new player in the Bilderberg conference, indicating that he has sold out to the New World Order.

b) We added Newt Gingrich as Secretary of Treasury based on his accomplishment as Speaker of the House in balancing the budget and creating welfare reform.

c) We removed Condoleeza Rice as a nominee for Secretary of State as it appears she has sold out to The Establishment, being one of the "50 National Security Experts" who condemned Trump.  She's in bad company there since most can easily be labeled as "other than experts" based on their hand-in-glove and very profitable relationships with Establishment elements,

20% of voters are Military Vets

A whopping 20 percent of Republican primary voters are military Veterans. No wonder GOP presidential candidates are making the scandal-plagued Veterans Affairs Department a campaign issue.

And the man frequently tagged as lacking substance — Donald Trump — just came out with the best reform plan so far.

Under Trump’s plan, vets of all ages who are eligible for VA care could get treated at any civilian doctor’s office or hospital that takes Medicare. No bureaucratic hoops, pre-approvals or wait lists.

Trump’s proposal leverages the close connection between Medicare and Veterans Affairs — 45% of VA users are already on Medicare. Opponents are carping that Trump’s plan lacks details, but we don’t need a 1,000-page bill. Trump’s proposal works. It also does an end-run around the VA bureaucracy that has sabotaged every effort so far to allow Vets to go outside for care.

VA excludes Disabled Vets           [MrConservative]

For 20 years, Veterans Affairs has failed to provide timely care to sick vets. Congress has been alerted again and again that VA schedulers falsified wait lists and even lied to vets, telling them they were in line to be seen when they weren’t. After several vets died needlessly at the Phoenix VA facility, Congress finally enacted reform last year. It promised vets the option of civilian care.

Every vet gets a “choice card,” but it’s a cruel joke. The law erects so many hurdles that few vets can actually use it.

Vets have to live more than 40 miles from a VA facility or have waited more than 30 days to be eligible. Then they have to get a letter confirming eligibility from Veterans Affairs — good luck with that. Then their civilian doctor has to call for pre-approval before treatment — fat chance getting that call answered. After all that, treatment is limited to 60 days. Like you can cure cancer in 60 days!

More than half of vets haven’t even heard about the choice program, which is just what the VA bureaucracy wants. But count on Trump — the master marketer — to get the word out about his plan if he’s elected president. And to fire VA Secretary Robert McDonald, who is a mere apologist for the system.

Competitors criticize Trump for not estimating the cost. But the facts suggest his plan will be low-cost, because nearly half of VA users are already on Medicare. Astoundingly, over 1 million of them have Medicare Advantage, which means taxpayers are paying insurance companies to care for them and then paying Veterans Affairs to care for them. This nonsensical double payment sends 10 percent of the VA health budget down the drain every year.

Overall, encouraging older vets to use Medicare instead by picking up their out-of-pocket costs when they go to a civilian doctor is a no-brainer, and it would cut VA wait lists in half. That would allow younger vets to see a VA doctor faster. But Trump also gives them access to civilian doctors, if they prefer.

Vets needing procedures such as bypass surgery and angioplasty do better at civilian hospitals that perform them in high volume. Medical studies support Trump’s idea. (No kidding!)

Concerned Veterans for America lashed out at Trump’s plan for lacking details. It proposes moving vets into private health plans with subsidies to help pay the premiums. But the plans resemble ObamaCare, meaning most vets could face large out-of-pocket costs.

That’s a nonstarter. 

Vets already earned their care. At the VA, they can see a doctor for $15. Maybe Concerned Veterans was fast to criticize Trump because one of their plan’s authors is an adviser to another presidential campaign.

So we lost a few at Benghazi!

Hillary Rodham Clinton says she’ll unveil a VA reform plan next month. 

She’s already brushed aside evidence of VA corruption, denying it’s widespread. Trump is the candidate best equipped so far with a real alternative when she launches into a defense of the VA’s rotten status quo.

We are reposting this blog commentary in light of the latest attempts to create 

more chaos by Soros/Mossad activists.  We've watched a steady progression of 

staged Terrorist CRISES take place, with complicit 

Media and local government Press Releases.

It happened again with the George Floyd staged-death by a Crisis Actor videoed 

"killing poor George" [who actually died 30 years ago].  Today, that staged event 

is the basis for a mass protest at the White House, with organizers

 demanding the White House be STORMED.

The objective is to have innocents injured or killed so the public's outrage 

can be exploited still more..  You likely remember Boston; 

this 2013 blog reveals the scam that shook the nation, and 

set the stage for subsequent False Flags

and more demands for "Gun Control".

This is a reposting of the original blog post from 2013 

as we update our analysis and assessment, and add some 

new factors which add to the questionable aspects of this

event, and add several financial factors we overlooked in 

the original analysis.  We've highlighted the new material 

and emphasized key issues in Red for your quick review.

The more reports we read on the Boston Bombing, the less sense the Official reports make.
The "official" reports need to be consistent, but they are not.  

[Our next door neighbor was a participant in this "marathon, but saw no actual injured runners.]

Editorial Disclosure: 

We'll present our critique of this event in several segments from the personal experience standpoint of having been, in succession, an Army Sapper, an Intelligence Operative, an MI Special Agent with experience in [successful] counter-terrorist operations, commander of an MI unit which created and conducted Command Post and Counter-Terrorist training exercises with "role players", an investigator of national security issues, a strategic analyst at the Pentagon and the State Department, and, the Director of global Intelligence operations [DCS]. 

[Thus, we can dispense with petty sniping from those whose experience is based on X-Box games or having watched episodes of Keifer Sutherland's nonsense program "24".]

No Motive; Just Convenient Fall Guys

"The hoax" story line: 

The basic story of the Boston Bombing is that two Chechen young men emplaced two pressure cooker IEDs packed with ball bearings and nails near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.  

They then reportedly detonated the bombs, likely using remote controls with batteries, causing injuries to runners and bystanders, killing three. That scenario has now been expanded to claim the two perps were part of a 12-man "sleeper cell" 

[never subsequently proven or ever validated]

1) Photos from mounted cameras as well as bystanders showing the explosions and various suspicious characters were distributed to the Media and on the Internet. 

2) Photos showing the two "perps", one wearing a white baseball cap, were distributed in short order. 

3) Suspicious characters were detained and questioned; among them a Saudi national who was
    quickly released and shipped off to Ryadh.  Rumors now claim he was part of the "sleeper cell". 

 DHS Crisis Actors, Perps, Fall Guys ?

    a) Two persons of interest

        appeared to be Navy

        SEALs assigned to the

        Exercise.  

        

       The leaks may have been

       intended to make SEALs

       the fall guys.

 [Of note is the number of SEALs who have died mysteriously since their hit on Osama bin Laden]

 b)  DHS denied their nearby 

      simultaneous Exercise 

      included the Marathon.

c)  Spectators stated there were

     repeated Marathon

     announcements about a

     "Security Exercise" and

     they should not be concerned

     by bomb-sniffing dogs or 

     security personnel. 

[Notably, the bomb-sniffing dogs did not detect any bombs] 

Real bombs? Detonated later?

 d)  The Boston Globe

        tweeted to officials:

"There will be a controlled explosion opposite the library within one minute as 

part of bomb squad activities"

4) The perps, supposedly after months of meticulous planning and preparation, now, in the midst of a massive police, FBI, and DHS presence, rob, without motive, a convenience store in their own neighborhood where they are identifies as "known residents"?

            and,  

They inexplicably shoot/kill a campus police officer? 

drawing the attention of the entire Law Enforcement Community to them?    

5) The perps, who lived nearbv, reportedly then car-jack a vehicle, the owner of which states that he saw them "light a fuse" on a pressure cooker!  [after the bombing event!]

Deadly Firecrackers?

6) The police reportedly [according to our News Media] conduct a high speed chase, during which shots are fired, and the perps toss bombs out the vehicle window. 

 [Were those "cherry bomb" firecrackers?]

Cherry bombs range in size from 3/4 to 1.5 inches in diameter.

[no need to hide behind the vehicles during a shoot-out if everyone fires blanks]

7) The Police have a shoot-out with the perps, killing the older perp, 

     and wounding the younger one.

8) Audio of the shoot-out sounds like what one would hear on an Army shooting range; i.e., evenly spaced pistol shots, one at a time, followed by a rifle shot, then followed by dozens of weapons being fired simultaneously, as if every armed law enforcement officer felt compelled to empty his weapon!  

[At the Army shooting range, this was called the Magic Minute when all the remaining ammunition was fired at the end of the training period]

8)  The police discover the younger perp hiding in a covered boat parked in the backyard of a Boston citizen, 

Police discovered the wounded lad in the boat, although the perp was not visible, and there were no blood trails leading to the boat, or any reason the boat's owner would inspect the boat since he was supposedly out for a smoke.


[Once that anomaly had been pointed out, DHS quickly posted an InfraRed [IR] photo of a boat with a human form in it.  No confirmation that it was the perp or even the boat in question, but, it satisfied "inquiring minds".]

Now, let's look at the Pressure Cooker IEDs/bombs.

We'll return later to the overall scenario, which we liken to an amateurish [i.e., Sean Penn] Hollywood script rather than a realistic account of the event.  We'll examine the entire scenario piecemeal to highlight all the discrepancies in the "official" version of this latest "terrorist" event.

Of late, there is an official report that the perp's car-jacked a vehicle, and the owner stated that one of the perps "lit the fuse" on a pressure cooker.  If the pressure cooker bombs used timers and batteries for detonation, it likely would not make sense to "light a fuse" on such a device, unless the bombers wished to blow themselves up.  {The other question is "where would the fuse fit?]

It's possible the perp was lighting a fuse on a small IED [Improvised Explosive Device], e.g., CO2 cartridge with a drilled top; but, that would be tiny compared with a "pressure cooker" bomb; so, even a person completely ignorant of such things could tell the difference between a bomb the size of a small radish vs one the size of a pumpkin.  

But, such small IEDs would tie to the official accounts that the perps were tossing bombs out the window of the car during the high speed chase.  Or, maybe it was written into the script.

For the moment, let's address the 

pressure cooker IED issues:

[No Holes]

1) The recovered cooker was bent, but had no holes, large or small, which would be normal in a shrapnel producing IED container.

2) The lid of the cooker was found on top of a nearby building, indicating it was placed and detonated upright, which would indicate a blast throwing shrapnel outward and upward, not laterally, causing upper body injuries - at worst!  

Although, no such injuries were reported.

3) To have caused the reported injuries, the actual blast would have been directional, as in a Claymore, which distributes shrapnel at ground level, inflicting damage on lower body extremities [i.e., legs].

Will this fit in your backpack?

4)  Cookers are too large to fit easily into backpacks.

5)  Backpacks stuffed with a cooker and left in place would be vulnerable to pedestrians kicking or tripping over them; or, possibly removal by event attendees, or petty thieves. 

New reports claim the perps placed the bombs only minutes before the detonations, whereas original reporting claimed the bombs had been pre-positioned hours before.

led by Bill Ayers - Mr Obama's business partner in Chicago,
and a self-proclaimed terrorist.

20 Runners visible; No flag movement on right;
no officials or police injured; no shrapnel?  No head wounds!
But, hundreds were injured?

6) The flags in the photos indicate a tight explosive pattern, like a Claymore mine; 

a cooker would have created a more rounded effect with flags closest bent outward severely, while peripheral flags would show decreasing degrees of bending with distance from the blast.

NOTE: The flags on the right side of the photo show no movement.

Notably, the explosion blew the flags, but apparently no shrapnel; otherwise, the officials in yellow shirts near the blue barriers would have been ripped apart.  Instead, they're quite casual.  In total, at the time of the blast, there were only 20 visible runners [count them] 

who could have been injured or killed by the shrapnel blast.

Oddly, the official reports count three runners dead, and hundreds injured.

[Was there any shrapnel?  

How were "hundreds" injured if there were only 20 runners near the blast?  

And, 

why were no officials [yellow jackets] injured/killed?]

But, we digress; back to the official account of this amazing event.
One conclusion would be the placement of "cookers" to create smoke and noise, while, the actual IED would be a Claymore mine, easily packed into a backpack with multiple means of detonation.

The majority of those reportedly treated at nearby hospitals had wounds to the lower body/extremities, consistent with the directional Claymore, but, inconsistent with the pressure cooker IED.

We do not challenge the fact that this event occurred in some fashion, nor do we challenge the fact that the Chechens were involved in some way [more likely hired as "Crisis Actors" for the DHS].  Unfortunately, one perp is dead, the other is severely wounded and unavailable for comment or interrogation. 

Were the perps "role players"?

A scenario presented is that the Chechens were hired as part of the DHS security exercise, and so they expected to be rounded up as part of the exercise -- thus they wore distinctive white  baseball caps as an easy Exercise identifier, 

and the videos of the Perps placing bags near the finish line; 

and the carjacking of a witness 

    [who reportedly described in detail their plans to attack New York City before he was released].

[That would fit nicely into a training script for analysts to follow]

But, the main flaw [among so many] in the official story remains the pressure cooker; it is displayed as evidence but bears no validating signature [i.e., puncture holes from shrapnel], indicating it may have held explosives, but no shrapnel.

That would account for the vertical plumes of smoke; and it would tie to the Boston Globe's Tweet of an imminent "Exercise" bomb blast 

-- perhaps validating the theory these Chechens were hired as role players, or  set-up as fall guys. 

Arms Tech, Ltd  MM-1 Directional [Claymore] Mine

As to the reported injuries/deaths of runners and spectators, it would make sense to examine the lateral blast pattern of military Claymore mines as an explanation for all those lower body wounds on spectators and runners. 

So, where did those Claymores come from?

Military Claymores [8.5"x 5" x 1.5"] have an effective range of about 150 feet, but a smaller version [see photo] would be more likely.  This one is small [5" x 3" x 1.5"], weighing about two pounds - with about 400 steel balls.  Kill radius is about 50 feet with a swath of 16 feet, targeting the lower body.

But, the Claymore Mine, had one actually been used, would have explained the lower body injuries suffered by those reportedly maimed by the otherwise harmless [DHS Training] blast mentioned in the email

Most intriguing is the totally incongruous hold-up of a convenience store, the shooting of the campus police officer, and the car-jacking -- which suddenly recast the Chechens from role players to "perps" -- ending in a real shoot-out with law enforcement officers who presumed they were dealing with real terrorists.

The latest twist on this convoluted story is that the two Chechen youths were a part of a 12-man "sleeper cell".  So, now, the scenario has been created by which DHS can rationalize imposing national police powers in their regional -- or even national search for terrorists. There are precedents for such scenarios, particularly with the FBI.

There is also the Israeli Intelligence take on this event, claiming the Chechen brothers were double agents, trained by the FBI/DHS to penetrate al Qaeda terrorist cells -- but who were doubled by al Qaeda into carrying out an actual attack.  Something to consider, but we suspect there is considerable fiction wrapped provided by Mossad.

Could this be a prelude to suspensions of your rights as DHS invokes the provisions of the Patriot Act and the NDAA as they pursue "terrorists."  

This will not end well.


The official accounts continue to be anomalous; and so far, we can only assume this scenario was created as a Hollywood movie script, complete with role players -- and live victims.

We've retrieved some of the published material revealing Crisis Actors preparing for the "explosion" and subsequent to the explosion with the full make-up required for the news cameras.  There was a wealth of such information on the Internet not long after the bombing event, but much has been deleted by our Internet censors.  Here's a few that escaped censorship - although I suspect they will disappear soon enough.

Surgeons advise that, if this were an actual casualty,

[instead of a Crisis Actor amputee] 

his wounds would have bled out within 3 minutes since both arteries would have drained his entire blood supply.

[CNN interviews same witness of both Boston Marathon bombing and Watertown Shooting 4 days later]

UPDATE:

This is another attempt to update this blogpost with new material.

My previous attempt was mysteriously censored, eliminating the following material, 

which again is posted for your edification. [I'll address the censorship of 

G00GLE and Facebook in a future blog and invite closer scrutiny

 of both by [the next Trump era] federal authorities.

So, why am I re-examining this event which most experienced observers view as a hoax? 

Well, one of our more astute followers highlighted financially significant events which coincided with this news-consuming event. 

1) It seems [then] President Obama's henchmen were busy at work rewriting legislation, or rather, editing the legislation called the Stock Act [2012], removing these key restrictive elements:
  

   a)  Searchable, sortable disclosure of information contained in reports, even of Congress, 
        the President, the Vice President, Cabinet Officers, and Congress, to include the dates
        of such reports or transactions.

   b) Requirements for electronic filing for Congress, the President, the Vice President, the
       Cabinet, Congress, Congressional Candidates, 

        AND 

    c) High-level Executive and Congressional Branch employees/appointees.  

    d) Even the images of staffers' filing won't be available for viewing on the Internet or web sites.

What does this mean?

No Transparency or Watchdog accountability

Essentially, INSIDER INFORMATION employed by federal officials, elected or appointed, or employees, would no longer be transparent.  This class of The Swamp [or the Deep State] would be able to "play the Market" with full knowledge of an impending crisis [e.g., the Boston Marathon Bombing],  selling stocks ahead of the event knowing the Market would plummet, and then buy back their shares after the event at rock bottom prices.

So, what occurred on the day of the Boston Bombing?

1)  The DJ Industrial Average plummeted, finally rebounding with a Point Loss of only a 265. 

     Trading volume was up significantly before the Boston Bombing, followed by a selling spree

      after the bombing.  [Insider trading?]

2)  Gold and Silver prices plummeted to their lowest price since the 1980s.

3)  Boston Marathon bombing event:                 [ 15April 2013    2:49 PM]  

-- Obama  signed the Stock Act Reversal.   [15April 2013 -- 1:15 PM], 

    protecting all those Insider Traders.  

 There would be merit to subpoena the trading records of all DHS, FBI, Boston/Massachusetts officials, Senators, Congressional Reps, and those of Vice President Biden and President Obama in that time frame to determine who was involved in Insider Trading, based on fore-knowledge of the staged Marathon Marathon bombing.

While we're at it, examine the stock trading of Congress, the Bush Family (and associates), senior Defense/Military officers (e.g., MG Singlaub), the NYC Fire Chief,
