We’re in a funny moment. Those who do politics for a living, some of them quite brilliant, are struggling to comprehend the central fact Republican primary race, while regular people have already absorbed what has happened and is happening. Journalists and politicos have been sharing schemes for how Marco parlays a victory out of winning nowhere, or Ted roars back, or Kasich has to finish second in Ohio. But in my experience any nonpolitical person on the street, when asked who will win, not only knows but gets a look as if you’re teasing him.

Trump, they say.

I had such a conversation again Tuesday with a friend who repairs shoes in a shop on Lexington Avenue. Jimmy asked me, conversationally, what was going to happen. I deflected and asked who he thinks is going to win.“Troomp!” He’s a very nice man, an elderly, old-school Italian-American, but I saw impatience flick across his face: Aren’t you supposed to know these things?

In America now only normal people are capable of seeing the obvious.

But actually that’s been true for a while, and is how we got in the position we’re in.

Last October I wrote of the five stages of Trump, based on the Kübler-Ross stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Most of the professionals I know are stuck somewhere between four and five.

But I keep thinking of how Donald Trump got to be the very likely Republican nominee. There are many answers and reasons, but my thoughts keep revolving around the idea of protection. It is a theme that has been something of a preoccupation in this space over the years, but I think I am seeing it now grow into an overall political dynamic throughout the West.

There are the Protected and the Unprotected.
The protected make public policy. The unprotected live in it. The unprotected are starting to push back, powerfully.

The Protected are the accomplished, the secure, the successful—those who have power or access to it.

They are protected from much of the roughness of the world. More to the point, they are protected from the world they have created.

Again, they make public policy and have for some time.

I want to call them the elite to load the rhetorical dice, but let’s stick with the Protected.

They are figures in government, politics and media. They live in nice neighborhoods, safe ones. Their families function, their kids go to good schools, they’ve got some money. All of these things tend to isolate them, or provide buffers. Some of them—in Washington it is important officials in the executive branch or on the Hill; in Brussels, significant figures in the European Union—literally have their own security details.

Because they are protected they feel they can do pretty much anything, impose any reality. They’re insulated from many of the effects of their own decisions.

Refugees: No women, no children

One issue obviously roiling the U.S. and western Europe is immigration.

It is THE issue of the moment, a real and concrete one but also a symbolic one: It stands for all the distance between governments and their citizens.

It is of course the issue that made Donald Trump.

Britain will probably leave the European Union over it.

In truth, immigration is one front in that battle, but it is the most salient because of the European refugee crisis and the failure of the protected class to address it realistically and in a way that offers safety to the unprotected.

If you are an unprotected American—one with limited resources and negligible access to power—you have absorbed some lessons from the past 20 years’ experience of illegal immigration. 

You know the Democrats won’t protect you and the Republicans won’t help you. Both parties refused to control the border. 

The Republicans were afraid of being called illiberal, racist, of losing a demographic for a generation. The Democrats wanted to keep the issue alive to use it as a wedge against the Republicans and to establish themselves as owners of the Hispanic vote.

Many Americans suffered from illegal immigration—its impact on labor markets, financial costs, crime, the sense that the rule of law was collapsing. But the protected did fine—more workers at lower wages. No effect of illegal immigration was likely to hurt them personally.

It was good for the protected. But the unprotected watched and saw. They realized the protected were not looking out for them, and they inferred that they were not looking out for the country, either.

The unprotected came to think they owed the establishment—another word for the protected—nothing, no particular loyalty, no old allegiance.

Mr. Trump came from that.

Similarly in Europe, citizens on the ground in member nations came to see the EU apparatus as a racket—an elite that operated in splendid isolation, looking after its own while looking down on the people.

Not the daughter of an EU official

In Germany the incident that tipped public opinion against the Chancellor Angela Merkel’s liberal refugee policy happened on New Year’s Eve in the public square of Cologne.

Packs of men said to be recent migrants groped and molested groups of young women. It was called a clash of cultures, and it was that, but it was also wholly predictable if any policy maker had cared to think about it.

And it was not the protected who were the victims—not a daughter of EU officials or members of the Bundestag.

It was middle- and working-class girls—the unprotected, who didn’t even immediately protest what had happened to them. They must have understood that in the general scheme of things they’re nobodies.

What marks this political moment, in Europe and the U.S., is the rise of the unprotected. It is the rise of people who don’t have all that much against those who’ve been given many blessings and seem to believe they have them not because they’re fortunate but because they’re better.

You see the dynamic in many spheres. In Hollywood, as we still call it, where they make our rough culture, they are careful to protect their own children from its ill effects. In places with failing schools, they choose not to help them through the school liberation movement—charter schools, choice, etc.—because they fear to go up against the most reactionary professional group in America, the teachers unions. They let the public schools flounder. But their children go to the best private schools.

This is a terrible feature of our age—that we are governed by protected people who don’t seem to care that much about their unprotected fellow citizens.

And a country really can’t continue this way.

In wise governments the top is attentive to the realities of the lives of normal people, and careful about their anxieties. That’s more or less how America used to be. There didn’t seem to be so much distance between the top and the bottom.

Now is seems the attitude of the top half is: You’re on your own. Get with the program, little racist.

Social philosophers are always saying the underclass must re-moralize. Maybe it is the overclass that must re-moralize.

I don’t know if the protected see how serious this moment is, or their role in it.

What I See Happening In a Trump Presidency

They will kill him before they let him be president.

It could be a Republican or a Democrat that instigates the
shutting up of Trump.  Don't be surprised if Trump has an accident.

Some people are getting very nervous: Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Jon Corzine, to name just a few.It's about the unholy dynamics between big government, big business, and big media. They all benefit by the billions of dollars from this partnership, and it's in all of their interests to protect one another.

It's one for all and all for one. It's a heck of a filthy relationship that makes everyone filthy rich, everyone except the American people. We get ripped off. We're the patsies.

But for once, the powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media, and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened.

Donald Trump can self-fund. No matter how much they say to the contrary, the media, business, and political elite understand that Trump is no joke. He could actually win and upset their nice cozy apple cart. It's no coincidence that everyone has gotten together to destroy The Donald.

It's because most of the other politicians are part of the a good old boys club. They talk big, but they won't change a thing. They are all beholden to big-money donors. They are all owned by lobbyists, unions, lawyers, gigantic environmental organizations, and multinational corporations - like Big Pharmacy or Big Oil.

Or they are owned lock, stock, and barrel by foreigners like George Soros owns Obama, or foreign governments own Hillary and their Clinton Foundation donations. These run-of-the-mill establishment politicians are all puppets owned by big money. But there's one man who isn't beholden to anyone

There's one man who doesn't need foreigners, or foreign governments, or George Soros, or the United Auto Workers, or the teacher's union, or the Service Employees International Union, or the Bar Association to fund his campaign.

Billionaire tycoon and maverick Donald Trump doesn't need anyone's help. That means he doesn't care what the media says. He doesn't care what the corporate elites think. That makes him very dangerous to the entrenched interests. That makes Trump a huge threat to those people. Trump can ruin everything for the bribed politicians and their spoiled slave masters.

Don't you ever wonder why the GOP has never tried to impeach Obama? Don't you wonder why John Boehner and Mitch McConnell talk a big game, but never actually tried to stop Obama? Don't you wonder why Congress holds the purse strings, yet has never tried to defund Obamacare or Obama's clearly illegal executive action on amnesty for illegal aliens?

Bizarre, right? It defies logic, right?

First, I'd guess many key Republicans are being bribed.

Second, I believe many key Republicans are being blackmailed.
Whether they are having affairs, or secretly gay, or stealing taxpayer money, the National Security Agency knows everything. Ask former House Speaker Dennis Hastert about that. The government even knew he was withdrawing large sums of his own money from his own bank account.

The NSA, the SEC, the IRS, and all the other three-letter government agencies are watching every Republican political leader. They survey everything.

Third, many Republicans are petrified of being called racists, so they are scared to ever criticize Obama or call out his crimes, let alone demand his impeachment.

Fourth , why rock the boat?
After defeat or retirement, if you're a good old boy, you've got a $5 million-per-year lobbying job waiting. The big-money interests have the system gamed. Win or lose, they win.

But Trump doesn't play by any of these rules. Trump breaks up this nice, cozy relationship between big government, big media, and big business. All the rules are out the window if Trump wins the Presidency. The other politicians will protect Obama and his aides but not Trump.

Remember:
Trump is the guy who publicly questioned Obama's birth certificate. He questioned Obama's college records and how a mediocre student got into an Ivy League university.

Now, he's doing something no Republican has the chutzpah to do.

He's questioning our relationship with Mexico; he's questioning why the border is wide open; he's questioning why no wall has been built across the border; he's questioning if allowing millions of illegal aliens into America is in our best interests; he's questioning why so many illegal aliens commit violent crimes, yet are not deported; and he's questioning why our trade deals with Mexico, Russia and China are so bad.



Trump has the audacity to ask out loud why American workers always get the short end of the stick.

Good question! I'm certain Trump will question what happened to the almost billion dollars given in a rigged no-bid contract to college friends of Michelle Obama at foreign companies to build the defective Obamacare website. By the way, that tab is now up to $5 billion.

Trump will ask if Obamacare's architects can be charged with fraud for selling it by lying. Trump will investigate Obama's widespread IRS conspiracy, not to mention Obama's college records. Trump will prosecute Clinton and Obama for fraud committed to cover up Benghazi before the election. How about the fraud committed by employees of the Labor Department when they made up dramatic job numbers in the last jobs report before the 2012 election?

 Obama, the multinational corporations and the media need to stop Trump. They recognize this could get out of control. If left unchecked, telling the raw truth and asking questions everyone else is afraid to ask, Trump could wake a sleeping giant. Trump's election would be a nightmare.

Obama has committed many crimes. No one else but Trump would dare to prosecute. He will not hesitate. Once Trump gets in and gets a look at the cooked books and Obama's records, the game is over. The jig is up. The goose is cooked.

Holder could wind up in prison. Jarrett could wind up in prison.
Obama bundler Corzine could wind up in prison for losing $1.5 billion of customer money.
Clinton could wind up in jail for deleting 32,000 emails or for accepting bribes from foreign governments while Secretary of State, or for misplacing $6 billion as the head of the State Department, or for lying about Benghazi. The entire upper level management of the IRS could wind up in prison. Obamacare will be de-funded and dismantled. Obama himself could wind up ruined, his legacy in tatters.

Trump will investigate. Trump will prosecute. Trump will go after everyone involved. That's why the dogs of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump.

[Editorial Note:  We are reminded of Reagan's election in spite of the GOP's desperate measures to prevent his nomination and then his election over the GOP's "Chosen One" [George HW Bush] - as unelectable as Jeb Bush is today.  Americans saw hope and recovery with Reagan, while the political Parties saw him as endangering the Good Ol Boy Network.  Within a few months of his election, there was a bewildering assassination attempt on Reagan, in which the Secret Service violated every security tenet of Presidential protection.  

In essence, they had him walk, in the open, from the entrance of the Hilton hotel to the street, where, inexplicably, a "mentally deranged" young man, armed with a .22 caliber pistol -- loaded with armor piercing rounds, just happened to be standing in wait - with no notice having been taken of him by Secret Service agents.  

Officially, he fired a series of shots at Reagan -- who was wearing a bullet-proof vest --with one round penetrating under Reagan's left arm -- reportedly a "ricochet" off the door of the Limo [reminiscent of the "magic bullet" that wounded Kennedy's companions in his limo.  Oddly, a pistol appeared near the head of the wounded James Brady.   

Some believe that a Secret Service agent fired the shot that wounded the President, and that Hinkley was merely a patsy, like Oswald in JFK's assassination.  

Even more oddly, the bullet purportedly recovered from Reagan was not an armor-piercing round, but a damaged lead slug [it made for great showmanship though].

#WMD: Agent Orange

Here's a breakthrough.
Opening the gate to deserving Vets who were exposed to [doused with] Agent Orange.

In this legislation, Air Force crews which handled Agent Orange dispensed via C-123 airplanes in Vietnam and Thailand are now eligible for disability compensation and health care benefits for a variety of cancers from skin cancer to prostate cancer to diabetes and leukemia.  
[National Guard air crews flying these same craft after war suffered Agent Orance residue, but are ineligible for compensation or health benefits.]

The cost of this compensation is under $50 million per year -- which VA extrapolates to a 10-year period to make it half a billion dollars [roughly the cost of Mr 0bama's fuel costs  since he entered office].

The VA, however, would not address the Blue Water Navy personnel who likely had the heaviest doses of Agent Orange.

Floating Chemical Coffins

During the war, commercial carriers refused to carry Agent Orange, so the Navy strapped 50-gallon drums onto the decks of warships to ship the chemical to Vietnam.  

En-route, those ships encountered heavy storms with massive waves, resulting in the 50 gallon drums breaking loose, popping their lids, and pouring their contents into the ships' interiors, soaking the crew.

Most of those crews later died of, not one, but multiple types of cancer.

The VA screening process demands that claimants prove that they "... set foot in Vietnam", which many in the Blue Water Navy cannot do -- nor can they produce bills of lading showing their ships carried Agent Orange.  In fact, there were no official bills of lading since the Navy did not want to admit they were carrying this dangerous chemical aboard their combat ships.

Oh, and the commercial carrier refusing to ship Agent Orange?
That was Lady Bird Johnson's company SeaLand, which had the exclusive contract for all logistic shipments from the US to Vietnam.

GOP: Destroying its candidates?

The Media, in its consummate wisdom, has designated the field of Republican candidates as clowns. Count them; 23 highly qualified Conservatives who believe in the Free Market, and each of whom has built his or her reputation on accomplishments which no current Democrat can match.  

We even include Christie, who has managed to effectively govern New Jersey, perhaps the most corrupt state in the Union - other than Illinois.

Of these 23, we hope the GOP won't destroy them all in its zeal to put Zeb Bush into the Oval Office. 

In past elections, it appears the GOP Chairman, Reince Priebus, along with his rabid pit bull, Karl Rove, managed to destroy any number of electable Conservative candidates for the House, the Senate, and the White House by generating adverse propaganda, withholding campaign funds and Media support, or joining forces with the Democrats to defeat candidates who indicated they would not toe the GOP Party Line - or worship at the feet of Priebus or Rove.

Rove appeared to be the guiding force in in re-electing Democrat Harry Reid in 2010 by smearing Sharron Angle, who was backed by the Tea Party and Veterans in Politics; she had won the Republican primary with 40% of the vote.  

After the primaries, Angle had a 50% to 39% lead over Reid, indicating that Angle was a shoe-in to win.  

Oddly, after behind-the-scenes lobbying by Rove, the widow of the late Republican Governor Guinn, Republican State Senator Raggio, and finally, Republican Senator Ensign all [we repeat ALL!] endorsed Democrat Senator Harry Reid -- the obvious objective of which was to undercut Tea Party influence in the GOP, and to preserve the purity of the corrupt GOP leadership!

Additionally, four strong incumbent Republican senators - who were resistant to GOP leadership -- were persuaded to "retire", including George Voinovich of Ohio, Sam Brownback of Kansas, Chris Bond of Missouri, and Mel Martinez of Florida, all abruptly decided to 

"retire and spend more time with our families."

Amazingly enough, the voters overturned most of the negative operations of Priebus and Rove, delivering 63 new seats to the Republicans in the House, and six new Senate seats; in local elections, the Republicans swept the elections with voters bringing in 680 new Republican seats -- leaving Republicans in control of 26 state legislatures and 29 State Governorships.

By 2014, Priebus and Rove were unable to keep the Democrats in power as voters gave the Republicans a clear majority in both the Senate and the House, with 54 Senate seats and the largest majority in the House since 1928.  

Amazingly, the voters recoiled against Maryland Democrat Governor O'Malley's failed governorship and elected Republican Larry Hogan with a margin of 51% to 47% -- which Chris Christie labeled "... the biggest upset in the entire country!"

But, enough of our vitriol against the GOP leadership -- which we believe is firmly in the pocket of the Democrats and Mr 0bama.

Let's talk about the Democrat candidates.

It appears the Democrats have only one viable candidate, perhaps the least qualified and most reviled Presidential candidate in US history, Hillary Clinton, who is "generating financial scandals faster than her husband generated his inevitable sex scandals".  

Of course, who can forget her description of her success as Secretary of State, in which she spent several minutes saying the words: success and progress and resolving existing problems, but at no point could she give an example of any of those terms.

To be fair, we can cite some examples of her accomplishments:
1)  She logged more mileage than any other Secretary of State
2)  She used her cell phone and personal email to transmit to unauthorized persons more Top Secret Compartmented intelligence information than any other politician in US history -- after which she claimed to accidentally have deleted all that data.
3)  She attempted a unilateral covert operation to cut a deal with the President of Iran via an unauthorized flight into Iran -- which crashed [shot down by the Israelis?], killing her SEAL escort [he allegedly committed suicide in Afghanistan], and sending her to an Israeli hospital from which she was surreptitiously shipped to a NY hospital where she was diagnosed with a flu-induced "head injury".
4)  She successfully killed one ambassador, his bodyguard, and two former SEALs in Benghazi.
5)  She installed a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, with close ties to  the Muslim Brotherhood, as her principal advisor at the State Department; and now there are reports of her being linked to supplies and money being provided to ISIS [a unit of which was captured by Iraqi forces, revealing the unit commander to be an Israeli colonel [corrected by the IDF to say he was an Israeli general!]

Now, to balance the scale of candidates in the Democrats' Presidential Clown Car, we have:

1)  Bernie Sanders who is upset there are 23 types of under-arm deodorants while children are hungry, advocates a 90% tax rate, and, he openly fantasizes about women "...being raped by three men simultaneously."

Granted, it's an old quote, taken out of specific context, but, since the Democrats fantasize about Ted Cruz's parking tickets over the last 20 years, Sanders' fantasies seem oh, so much more salacious.  He is expected to carry Vermont's Electoral Votes.

O'Malley: "What Scandal!"

2)  Then again, we have Martin O'Malley, 

former governor of Maryland against whom voters rebelled to smash his hand-picked successor at the polls with a massive vote against O'Malley's policies which destroyed Maryland's economy by taxing businesses to such an extent that many fled the state leaving tens of thousands of unemployed workers -- and depleted tax coffers.

He advocated taxing rainfall! 

We feel certain that if he were on the ticket, 

Maryland's Electoral Votes would be all Red.

3)  Desperately seeking an alternative, the Democrats now have Lincoln Chaffee, a former Republican, then an Independent, and currently a Democrat who seeks "internationalism" via the Metric System, and he seeks to atone for the Iraqi war[s]. 

He may carry Washington, DC, which has no Electoral Votes, but the Rhode Island voters are delighted he's leaving.

We return to the original question:

Will the GOP leadership manage to destroy all the 

qualified Conservative candidates before the election to snatch defeat 

from the jaws of pure victory -- as they did in 2012?

#Wassenaar: New World Order?

Open Letter Regarding Wassenaar to the Department of Commerce and to Legislators,

[Background: 

The Wassenaar Arrangement on Export Controls for Conventional Arms and Dual-Use Goods and Technology is a multilateral export control regime [MECR] with 41 participating states, to include the USA.  Wassenaar replaces COCOM [Coordinating Committee for  Multilateral Export Controls], and is ostensibly less strict than COCOM and focuses primarily on the transparency of national export controls and not granting veto power to individual members over organizational decisions.

Wassenaar has come under fire from the IT community since, in its current form, it will have “extensive harmful effects on computer security research and defensive software”, potentially imposing criminal penalties on software and security developers.  The very credible author of this article:  Jonathan Adziarski, provides a stirring case against Wassenaar.]

To Whom it May Concern,

I am a published and respected forensics expert who pioneered the very first forensic techniques to extract data from the iPhone as early as 2008.  Since then, I have spent several years, and much of my time, assisting numerous law enforcement and military agencies around the world, including our own. I’ve trained government agencies in the US, Canada, and the UK, and I've trained law enforcement organizations from dozens of our allies here at home in the US.

My work has been validated by the NIJ/NIST. I have invested my time in providing free assistance to many US-based federal and state agencies who have flown personnel into my small town for help in the middle of the night.

Because of my research and hard work, I’ve provided the necessary information to the rest of the industry to be able to perform iOS forensics, and a vast majority of today’s forensics solutions are founded upon my techniques.

I did all of this on my own personal time, and in many cases on my own dime. The tools and techniques I developed are by no means “intrusion” tools; however, due to the excessively broad nature of the Wassenaar proposal, my services would fall under its regulations as they bypass security mechanisms of devices and collect information from them. As all of my research is done personally, I have no large company with lawyers to address the impossible spider web of export regulations that would be introduced by Wassenaar.

The current proposal, as is, would harm far more than simply the information security industry, but would also greatly damage the forensics industry and ultimately limit the quality of tools available to law enforcement agencies for conducting lawful forensics. My tools, as well as many commercial solutions, employ the use of exploits to collect information from devices for purposes that serve law enforcement and the greater good.

I sometimes only privately release the source code to my own tools, as many commercial forensics manufacturers have stolen it in the past, yet I continue to help the law enforcement community. Wassenaar will do little to accomplish the goals it set out to, and instead make it impossible for security researchers like myself to further expand the base of knowledge by contributing openly to the community – which goes far beyond this country’s borders.

Had Wassenaar (as it is proposed today) been in place in 2008, I would not have felt as though I could openly share my research publicly without risk of prosecution, which would have deprived the community as a whole – including the United States – of valuable information that has led to the greater good.

I understand there are certain nation states misusing intrusion tools to commit crimes. There are also many law enforcement agencies within the United States who have misused or abused my own tools and techniques to conduct questionable and potentially illegal intrusions. We cannot simply un-invent technologies to prevent their misuse, and unlike nuclear weapons, digital goods cannot be effectively regulated; yet this is the tradeoff we make, to create these tools for the greater good, knowing they may be abused.

This proposal stands to only damage those looking to contribute to a better and more secure community. Wassenaar has a deterrent component, and at the heart of security research are many independent researchers like myself who will simply stop contributing if there is a fear of prosecution simply for sharing knowledge in the form of code.

Sharing knowledge is not only a basic human right, but the only means by which we can become a civilized society. Without knowledge and education, the greater good suffers.

Security researchers share knowledge in the form of code, which serves as an illustration – a description – of a problem that exists in a system. Even many published papers will contain code as it is our language by which we can most effectively communicate an idea. In addition to code, we create binaries of it to help test our own systems for vulnerabilities and ensure the security of our user base.  Wassenaar, at its very core, attempts to regulate the ideas and knowledge we communicate through code.

History has consistently demonstrated that regulating knowledge on any level has proven detrimental to societies. 

In Wassenaar’s attempt to prevent the dissemination of intrusion software, it is, at the very core, creating too much of a fear of prosecution to any security researcher to even consider developing or sharing their research with those who would most benefit from it.

There are alternatives to dealing with malicious nation states that do not involve creating regulations and the fear of prosecution on honest, law abiding researchers whose focus should be on their work, and not on being imprisoned by their own country. 

The day that I am prevented from sharing my knowledge freely with the world is also the day I stop sharing with all; it is the day the US declares they own the rights to my knowledge and what I do with it. That kind of power is far more dangerous than any intrusion tool.

As Hillary Clinton's emails find their way into the Media, we glean the extent of her security violations, not only in disclosing sensitive Top Secret Compartmented [TSC] information to her old campaign manager, but also in feeding his false information into the State Department Intelligence office [Bureau of Intelligence and Research] from which it was then distributed to the entire US  Intelligence Community.

"Goodness! I'm a spy!"

In this NY Post story, we learn that Hillary fed into the State Department bureaus false data -- implied as "intelligence reports" which were furnished by her old friend and campaign manager, Sid Blumenthal [aka: Hillary's Hatchet Man].

Blumenthal reportedly fed Clinton emails formatted like Intelligence cables, which then became part of the US policy process relating to Libya.  One such report elevated Libyan businessman Najib Obeida among the "most influential of the Libyan Prime Minister's new economic advisors" -- although Blumenthal omitted the fact that Blumenthal was "advising a group of contractors courting Obeida as a potential business partner."

Noteworthy, however, was Blumenthal's feed to Hillary regarding his personal knowledge [via Libyan officials] of the attack on Benghazi which detailed the event identifying Ansar al-Shariah -- which had ties to al Qaeda -- as the attack force.  In spite of this detailed information on the Benghazi attack, Clinton declared to UN Ambassador Rice that the attack was by "demonstrators" inspired by the now infamous video.

We've seen other email records of Clinton corresponding with Blumenthal in which Clinton is openly filling in Blumenthal on Top Secret Codeword information - restricted to the "Eyes Only" category for a very limited audience in the Presidential suite.  Those emails alone can be the basis for her conviction on violations of National Security -- but, we'll have to wait for Congress to act.

Cheryl Mills
Can't be prosecuted
since she's a democrat

In another NY Post revelation, Clinton's nearly invisible advisor [aka: operative] was responsible for identifying and "preserving [i.e., deleting] all emails that could potentially be federal records".

Cheryl Mills, in 1998 [during Bill's Administration] was the subject of a demand by House Oversight Committee staffers for criminal prosecution after she
"... knowingly and willfully obstructed the investigative authority of this Committee by withholding documents.  Ms Mills lied under oath about the documents and the circumstances surrounding their non-production."

In October, 2012, Mills pulled damning documents from State Department files which would have revealed the actual details of the attack on Benghazi.  The US Deputy Ambassador to Libya testified that Mills ordered him by phone to "stop cooperating with investigators."

According to the Post, a House Select Committee on Benghazi staffer has advised that if Mills were subpoena'd to testify under oath, the entire Benghazi cover-up by the Administration and Clinton would crumble.

As the case mounts against Hillary, Congressman Pete Olson [R-TX] supported the Special Operations Speaks [SOS] PAC which calls for the "late impeachment [of Hillary Clinton] over her unlawful actions as US Secretary of State."   Olson notes:
"A fundamental tenet of our democracy is the notion that no one is above the law.  Not our citizens, our Presidents, lawmakers, or Cabinet members."

SOS cites Hillary's blatant violation of federal law by creating and using a personal email server to transmit Top Secret intelligence to unauthorized persons, and later attempted to delete those emails in the face of subpoenas.

Additional citations establish the unlawful conflicts of interest involving the Clinton Foundation which laundered $500 million in "donations" from foreign governments "...during Clinton's negotiations with them regarding trade, sanction, and humanitarian deals.

The noose seems to be tightening around Clinton's political neck; we would not be surprised to see Valerie Jarrett unleash evidence against her as a means to settle old political scores.

As a footnote, the New York Times reported that Blumenthal "... was simultaneously working for the [Clinton] Foundation, entities with business interests in Libya, and providing foreign policy advice [and disinformation] to Hillary Clinton while she was at the State Department [as Secretary of State].

Blumenthal has now been subpoena'd to appear before the House Select Committee on Benghazi; we'll be interested in that testimony since the Democrats won't be able to derail those hearings this time around.

It should be interesting, and we certainly hope Hillary stays in the lead on her Presidential campaign -- at least until she is indicted under a "late impeachment" in which Congress would hold Clinton accountable for her criminal activities as a Cabinet Member.

Train Crash - Cyber Attack?

Prelude to a national transportation hack?

UPDATE:

Several new reports add interesting elements to this catastrophe:

1)  Passengers on this train stated that, immediately before the train left the rails, they heard a large "Bang!", not further identified, although investigators found a large round break in the window of the locomotive [train engine].  In another train incident in New York, there was a similar report of a "bang" -- complete with broken window in the train engine.  
[Those windows are virtually unbreakable, and we understand the FBI is now investigating both incidents.]

Additional reports reveal that the conductor had slammed on the brakes attempting to stop the train after it inexplicably increased speed -- by computer.

The conductor was fully cooperative with investigators and voluntarily produced his cell phone and freely took a blood test.  He advised he could not explain how the train doubled its speed when he had attempted to slow the train as it approached the curve.

The Philadelphia mayor has condemned the conductor as the irresponsible cause of the crash. A Twitter campaign has been launched to destroy his reputation by calling him a "diversity" hire.

Looks like a set-up to press passage of the $2 Billion Congressional Bill for rail maintenance.  De Blasio has learned a new word "INFRASTRUCTURE" and came to DC to bolster his reputation as a knowledgeable idiot!

There are reportedly seven passengers dead, with hundreds more injured in this train wreck.

The train reportedly was going more than 100 mph in a sector limited to 50 mph because of the tight curve.

Interestingly, one of the passengers reported hearing a "large BANG!" just before the derailing, while two other Philadelphia trains suffered window damage at the same time as the Amtrak crash.  
[To answer the obvious question:  No! Kids throwing rocks at the train will not break the windows; they're shatterproof!  So, whatever struck the windows was likely significantly greater than a hand-thrown rock.  It's worth examining the windows to see if there are bullet holes -- but then, we must ask who fired those rounds (note the calls for "Congressional infrastructure funding" below.]

We suspect the cause will be attributed to driver error, although safeguards were put in  place to prevent a repeat of other, recent train crashes in which excessive speed was the cause -- attributed to operator error.

Oddly, a search of the Internet retrieves little information on recent train wrecks in the US, even all those oil train derailings of the Warran Buffett genre which have spilled millions of gallons of oil in rural, suburban, and urban areas throughout the US -- killing people, livestock, vegetation, and polluting water supplies and creating environmental hazards through the massive oil fires.

Gosh, is the Media censoring itself?

The Media says I'm a Nice Guy!

Or, is that genial old gent, Warren Buffett, exercising his control over the Media since he is so well connected in the Media world, and in the railroad world, and in the infrastructure world, and in the energy sector  -- well, by golly, what ISN'T he controlling these days.  

And we thought the Rockefellers were powerful.

But, we digress.

We note the difficulty in finding details of a recent train wreck [to which we can no longer find a reference on the Internet], in which the operator supposedly fell asleep at the controls, and the train derailed due to excessive speed, killing and maiming passengers.

Such are highly unusual accidents since the computer systems are structured to monitor and control speeds at risky spots which are programmed into the rail routing process.  Even if the operator dies of a heart attack, the computer will respond appropriately if disaster looms.

That is, unless the computer system is hacked.

We expect to hear from the feds that this derailment was caused by terrorists, but that would imply that the terrorists can easily derail a US train, passenger or cargo - and that could derail the entire rail industry, and lower Buffett's profits.  So, the feds will crucify the operator and accuse him of being a cardiac victim, a drunk, a drug-user, or, an incompetent.  We suspect, however, the operator[s] are/were completely competent, and expert enough to know better than to drive 100 mph in a 50 mph zone consisting of a tight curve.

So, we drop back to the explanation that the computer system managing rail traffic was hacked.
By whom, we're unsure, although we have our suspicions, and we'll advise you once we have more information.

Hacks are more powerful than bombs

But, keep in mind, that if the rail system computers can be hacked, so too can the air traffic control system, and local ground based vehicular traffic signaling as well.  


Don't forget, both Dulles and ORD were hacked this past year,  creating havoc for the airlines, Air Traffic Controllers -- and tens of thousands of passengers.  

And, for good measure, our Administration is demanding that all new automobiles and trucks carry computer programs which can be controlled by "security" personnel -- to protect us from "terrorists"; of course, if terrorists hacked into that "security system", think of the havoc that could be wreaked causing millions of cars to spin out of control -- without regard to the drivers trying desperately to steer or slow their vehicles.

We're facing a challenge left open by the incompetence of this Administration which squandered a trillion dollars in 2009 and 2010 [under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act] which should have upgraded our infrastructure grids, to include our air/water/ground traffic control systems.  

Oddly enough, Mayor De Blasio, the only Communist mayor in the US, has declared that the rail infrastructure is 100 years or more old and is badly in need of repair; and Congress is pressing forward with another $2 Billion for such graft, er, repair.

Instead, all that money went to bogus companies owned by friends of Mr 0bama; and the US infrastructure has been collapsing ever since.
