Bogus Tax Bill Follows Bogus Alabama Election

More news on the bogus Tax Bill process.

The RepubliCrats are seeking a way to kill it before they take their Christmas Recess, so, having succeeded with the GOP/DNC collusion to give Sessions' seat to a Democrat, the end-game now continues.

As Stalin noted:
"It is enough that the people know there was an election.  The people who cast the votes decide nothing.  The people who count the votes decide everything."

The Senate margin is now razor-thin, but, surprise -- McCain has suddenly taken ill and has taken up residence in Walter Reed Military Hospital and will be "unable" to vote on the Tax bill; that "brain cancer" thing is a terrible burden.

We salute the good senator since most people enduring brain cancer  deteriore quickly and have long since passed away, but, he seems spry as a new rooster.
Is it cancer, or just a deformed brain.

So, essentially, the Bill will now take one of two paths:
1) It will fail to pass because the GOP now has no clear majority
2) In order to pass, the Bill will have to undergo considerable compromise with the Democrats, and the newly unacceptable Tax Bill will be sent over to Trump for signature.

-- Either way, we lose!

Pass or not, both Parties will walk away with plenty of pork, and the tax breaks we anticipated will now be corrupted so that deductions and credits will be replaced with new scales and add-ons.  It looks as if the AMT [Adjusted Minimum Tax] has already crept back into the Bill, and we're certain many of the tax hikes buried in ObamaCare will be revived.

You jerks in Congress
screwed up my Tax Reform
The end result will be that both Parties will then attack Trump for HIS inability to get the Tax Bill through as promised in his campaign.

This will annoy the voters, and distract the voters from the current scandals implicating Schumer for his involvement in sex scandals, and the overwhelming evidence being presented indicating the absolute corruption of Deep State politicians now resigning in noticeable numbers.

Note to Congress and the Senate:
2018 is an election year,
and we'll identify and evict you bastards who sabotaged this tax bill!

Draining the Swamp is tough business;

I'd suggest to Mr Trump that he speed up the process with a little napalm.

Trump's Tax Plan

Today's discussion will focus on the impact of President Trump's Tax Plan.

[We feel qualified to discuss this topic as we maintain advanced degrees in
Business Administration and Economics from well regarded institutions
such as Webster, Georgetown, and Oxford Universities, and
we have taught senior level International Business
courses at the University of Maryland.

We also conducted a NSC/CSIS study of the impact of business
on local and international economies to assist the
Reagan Administration develop a strategy for
International Economic Development.
]

Leftist [e.g., NYT, WaPo, CNN, etc.,] criticism of Trump's Tax Plan worries that it will reduce tax revenues, undercutting the ability of Congress to spend extraordinary amounts of money on pet projects, like the Trillion Dollar F-35, and will benefit "The Rich" at the expense of "The Working Class".

In reality, most economists [including this author] will point out that Economies of Scale play a major role in increasing tax revenues:

1)  The tax base of employed taxpayers expands as jobs are created
by the return of corporation to the US [inspired by a reduced tax
rate]; the more taxpayers, the more tax revenue,
2)  Companies previously squeezed by ObamaCare's requirement
to provide health benefits forall employees, if the number of
employees exceeds 49, can now return to normal business
practices and hire more than 49 employees legally; thus, a
      larger taxpayer base,
3)   New companies will be created to meet increased demand for goods and services, no longer
hampered by the burdensome bureaucratic regulations and criminal penalties buried
       in ObamaCare,
4)   The defunding and termination of enforcement of ObamaCare criminal penalties will end the cost
of ObamaCare special enforcement units which had hired massive staffs and generated equally
massive budgets, incurring massive court costs in prosecution of "offenders".
5)  Disposable income of taxpayers will increase, facilitating their expenditures on taxable goods
and services; the net tax revenues gained through expanded commerce will more than offset
the reduction in individual tax revenue.
6)  Home equity will continue to increase for
taxpayers who no longer have to worry that
Obama or Congress will eliminate the tax
deduction for mortgage interest and real estate
taxes; that concept created a negative impact
on the expansion of the housing industry
which had begun to contract based on rumors
      from Capitol Hill.
      a)   Home equity allows homeowners greater
             availability of cash through refinancing,
      b)   Home equity translates to more profit in
             the pocket when homeowners sell,
      c)   Home equity encourages new homebuyers,
expanding the housing market at all levels.
      d)   Housing Market expansion encourages new construction, which employs skilled and
unskilled labor, expanding the workforce -- and again, expands the taxpayer base,
       e)  Housing Market expansion translates into increased sales of goods and services at all levels,
from wood, nails, electrical components, stoves, ovens, HVAC systems, etc., all of which will
both expand as well as create new companies which will hire new workers/taxpayers.
        f)  Housing Market expansion will create new companies which will not only hire new workers,
but which will increase the business tax base for local and federal taxes.

Individual Reform
1)  Tax relief for American families, especially middle-income families:
     a)  Reducing the 7 tax brackets to 3 tax brackets of 10%, 25% and 35%
     b)  Doubling the standard deduction
     c)  Providing tax relief for families with child and dependent care expenses
     d)  Eliminate tax on individuals earning below $25,000 per year,
and on couples eating less than $50,000 per year,
2)  Simplification:
     a)  Eliminate targeted tax breaks that mainly benefit the wealthiest taxpayers
     b)  Protect the home ownership and charitable gift tax deductions
     c)  Repeal the Alternative Minimum Tax, allowing standard deductions once again,
     d)  Repeal the death tax, allowing family wealth to be passed directly to heirs

As for business, we've noted the expansion above of Small Business in the economy is of major significance.  Here are the documented facts of the impact of Small Business:

1)  99.7%    of US employers
2)  64%       of net "new Private-Sector jobs"
3)  42.9%    of Private-Sector payroll
4)  46%       of Private-Sector output
5)  43%       of high-tech employment
6)  98%       of exporting firms
7)  33%       of value of exported goods

Notably, the impact of ObamaCare provisions forced many Small Business to shut their doors and cease to operate, laying off employees, terminating their sale of goods and services, eradicating their percentage of the economy of local, national, and international commerce, and thus eliminating the tax revenues previously tied to Small Business.

Most politicians -- and economists -- fail to factor in the impact of ObamaCare on the economy and joblessness rates.  The data above makes it a bit more clear for the uninformed.

As a footnote to this mini-discussion of Small Business. we will point out that such companies as Microsoft, Apple, Northrup-Gumman, Oracle, HP, Google, Amazon, and EBay all began as "Small Businesses" -- none of which would have flourished had ObamaCare existed when these companies were start-ups.

Business Reform
1)   15% business tax rate
2)   Territorial tax system to level the playing field for American companies
3)    One-time tax on trillions of dollars held overseas
4)    Eliminate tax breaks for special interest groups
5)    Repeal the 3.8% Obamacare tax that hits small businesses and investment income

The reform of the tax rates on business is especially significant for large, multi-national corporations [MNC], many of which moved their operations outside the US to avoid high taxes and onerous regulations which significantly increased overhead costs and decreased the levels of profit centers.

Lowering the tax rate will attract these extra-territorial companies back to the US where they will not only pay corporate taxes on their profits, but, they will hire American workers to produce goods and services.  These new hires will pay taxes, and consume goods and services provided by Small Business; they will also buy durable goods such as Appliances, TVs, Electronics, etc., and, they will consume services as they expand and enhance their lifestyles.

The territorial tax system will also make these American-based MNCs more competitive, increasing taxable profits, and expanding employment.

The One-Time tax on the protected overseas assets will generate hundreds of billions of dollars in a single event, which can then be invested in the US infrastructure -- creating more jobs.  It has the spin-off effect of eliminating the burden of criminality declarations against US executives who can better expend their resources on building business enterprises rather than expanding the number of lawyers in their legal offices.

And, last, but certainly not least, repeal of the 3.8% ObamaCare tax which has smothered Small Business enterprise, and stifled investment in publicly traded companies, many of which have gone private to reduce the costly impact of federal restrictions.

Noteworthy of this entire review is the impact of ObamaCare -- which most critics have considered merely a fly in the health-care ointment.  In reality, its impact has affected US commerce in all phases of the economy based on its myriad provisions hidden from view in the thousands of pages of both the original ACA as well as the implementation instructions.

Eliminate ObamaCare, and we can return to business as normal.

ObamaCare Reformed

This is another in a series of posts authored by those
capable of intelligent analysis of complex and
controversial subjects.  We share on the
basis of educating our audience whom
we trust will pass along this
analysis to others.

[via: J Duncan Barry]

"Liberals are notorious for caring about 'groups' of people, but when it gets down to individual persons, not so much. You’re about to see this play out in spades as Democrats cry crocodile tears over the coming repeal of Obamacare.

"You hear it over and over again:
'This will be catastrophic for the 20 million people who were previously
uninsured but now have coverage! You can’t take away their health care!'

"First of all, no one is talking about doing that. Any repeal legislation will have a transition period for those who got coverage through Obamacare to move to new plans.
And second, they will have more choices and better options. Win. Win.

"But liberals would rather focus on quantity, how many millions we’ve given something to, versus quality, what does that 'gift mean for individual people.

"The Obama administration claims 20 million more Americans today have health care due to Obamacare. The reality is that when you look at the actual net gains over the past two years since the program was fully implemented, the number is 14 million, and of that, 11.8 million (84 percent) were people given the 'gift' of Medicaid.

"And new research shows that even fewer people will be left without insurance after the repeal of Obamacare. Numbers are still being crunched, but between statistics released by the Congressional Budget Office and one of the infamous architects of Obamacare, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Jonathan Gruber, it’s estimated that anywhere from 2 to 7 million people now on Medicaid would have qualified for the program even without Obamacare.

"That further discredits the [Obama] administration’s claim of 20 million more Americans having health insurance because of Obamacare.

"Multiple studies have also shown that even those who are uninsured often have better outcomes than those with Medicaid. A University of Virginia study found that for eight different surgical procedures, Medicaid patients were more likely to die than privately insured or uninsured patients. They were also more likely to suffer complications.

"And it is important to note that this study focused on procedures done from 2003-2007, prior to the geniuses in Washington deciding it was a good idea to put even more people on the already overburdened Medicaid system.

Try to control your bleeding while we take care of Jose's sniffles

"Additionally, despite what proponents of the law promised, there is little evidence to show that the use of emergency rooms, which have a higher level of medical errors, has decreased due to Obamacare.

"Then there is this reality: While Obamacare has handed out millions of new Medicaid cards, that does not mean the recipients now have quality health care. In fact, it doesn’t ensure they have health care at all. That’s because increasing numbers of doctors aren’t accepting Medicaid.

Useless if doctors won't accept it

"As a Louisiana woman told The New York Times
'My Medicaid card is useless for me right now. It’s a useless piece of plastic.

I can’t find an orthopedic surgeon or a pain management doctor who will accept Medicaid.'

"Keep that in mind every time liberal Democratic senators pull out the Kleenex boxes bemoaning the fact Republicans are the ones trying to take people’s health care away."

We thank Mr Barry for his insightful analysis of the ObamaCare conundrum which continues to reign as the most catastrophic of the Obama legacy.

ObamaCare - An Election Referendum!

A new guest post by Betsy McCaughey

/>
You've been focused on the outrageous criminal conduct
of Hillary and Bill now being revealed by
WikiLeaks [aka: FBI/NSA/DIA].
Betsy lays out the issues we face if Trump
is defeated and unable to repeal ObamaCare.

Read this expose' and see how you will be affected.

This election is also a referendum on the Affordable Care Act. Almost everyone in America is affected. Contrary to what ObamaCare’s defenders claim, the law is hurting millions more people than it’s helping.

Hillary Clinton defends it and wants to “build on it.” Donald Trump is promising to “repeal and replace the disaster known as ObamaCare.”

It’s probably our last chance.

Disaster” sums up the skyrocketing premiums and lack of choice facing many of the 11 million people enrolled in the exchange plans. The plans are unaffordable, unless you’re a low earner getting a free ride.

ObamaCare enrollees aren’t the only people being clobbered.
If you get insured at work — as 155 million people do — your deductibles are up a staggering 49 percent since 2011 thanks to ObamaCare. Part-timers are working fewer hours, so business owners can avoid the law’s employer mandate. Taxpayers are on the hook for some 50 new taxes.

Seniors get hit the hardest.

More than half of ObamaCare’s costs are paid for by cutting Medicare, resulting in stingy care for seniors.

Here’s how ObamaCare affects you:

Insured through work?
  1. The law forces employers to provide a one-size-fits-all benefits package costing much more than pre-ObamaCare coverage.
  2. The law also imposes a slew of new taxes
  3. No surprise, employers are offsetting these costs by raising deductibles and reducing family coverage.
  4. In 2017, many companies will eliminate insurance for spouses.
  5. Working part-time? Hundreds of thousands of workers have had their hours cut because ObamaCare requires employers to cover full-time employees, meaning those working 30 hours a week or more.
  6. Ironically, colleges, where Democrats outnumber Republicans, are major culprits, slashing hours for adjuncts and student workers to avoid providing insurance.

Job-hunting?
ObamaCare dampens the job market.

In New York, 17 percent of service companies and 21 percent of manufacturers are reducing their workforces to stay below 50 full-time workers and dodge the employer mandate, according to the New York Federal Reserve.

Sixty-five or older?

ObamaCare awards bonus points to hospitals that spend the least per senior.    [Now a policy at VA]
  1. Researchers found that at 231 hospitals getting bonuses for low spending, seniors died needlessly because of inadequate care. For example, seniors having heart attacks were forced to wait too long for angioplasties and died before they could get the procedure.
  2. ObamaCare emergency-room rules slap seniors with bills for “observation care.”
    1. You’re in the hospital, but you’re not officially “admitted.” It’s a cost-cutting gimmick.
    2. When it’s time to go home, Medicare doesn’t pay and you’re stuck with a huge tab.

A Physician?

Thank ObamaCare for the thousands of pages of new regulations dictating how you treat your Medicare patients. Precious minutes that could be spent talking to a patient are wasted filling out tedious, repetitive government forms.

Physicians are glued to computer screens, following prompts instead of making eye contact with their patients and listening to them.

Refusenik?

If you’re uninsured and refuse to buy ObamaCare, the average penalty is $995 per adult, $500 per child. Ouch.

Clinton promises voters that she’ll make ObamaCare better with billions of dollars of extra spending.
  1. But she’s not going to remove the mandates causing people to lose work hours or their jobs.
  2. As for the regulations suffocating doctors, count on Hillary to pile on more.
  3. Worst of all, Clinton wants to expand Medicare to people in their 50s.
  4. Seniors are already having a hard time finding a doctor to treat them for Medicare’s low rates.
  5. Adding millions of “50-somethings” trying to see the same doctors will make it impossible to get an appointment.

Trump knows ObamaCare has to be junked

His plan eliminates the unaffordable mandates and penalties. Consumers will choose from a wide variety of plans, sold across state lines, with special help for people with pre-existing conditions.

Trump gives states flexibility to improve Medicaid for the poor. His plan resembles what House Republicans are pushing, which means it might actually get passed.

On Nov. 8, voters have the chance to
rid this nation of ObamaCare.

They should seize it!
