Did Russia Nuke Tianjin?

Mysterious Explosions and Fires

UPDATED ON 21Nov2018, and again 02Oct2021

Click here for related story [www.mirror.co.uk]

After successive analyses attributing the explosions first to chemical explosions,
but then to nuclear weaponry based on the extraordinary heat of the explosions
[but no residual radioactivity], we then considered while reviewing the
devastation in California with the same indicators [i.e., melted wheels
on cars], we've concluded the destruction resulted from DEWs
[Directed Energy Weapons] which might have been fired by
Russia, or even the US.
We continue to investigate.

Tianjin [天津市], a modern city of 15 million [New York has only 8 million] and major port in northern China on Bohai Bay about 90 miles southeast of Beijing, exploded near midnight, on 12 August 2015.  The city hosts nearly 300 of the Fortune 500 companies.

The body count continues, with 121 known dead and nearly 1,000 injured; at least 36 firefighters are listed as missing.
[A total of 173 people, including 80 fire fighters were killed;
800 others were injured.  300 homes were destroyed.]

Renault cars to be sold at deep discount in US?
Property damage was massive, to include incinerated buildings, hundreds of shipping containers bent and twisted and tossed hundreds of feet, thousands of parked new Renault cars in a lot ready for shipment and turned to burnt out hulks, and fireballs consumed real estate in all directions.

The force of the blasts, according to the China Earthquake Administration, was the equivalent of two earthquakes, with multiple aftershocks.  The first blast registered 2.3 on the Richter Scale; the second was seven times the force of the first at 2.9 on the Richter Scale.

The blasts were so massive they were recorded by a Japanese weather space-satellite.

Ed UPDATE:

We have now received reports -- unconfirmed -- that the blast included a possible nuclear detonation, indicated by reported REM readings approaching 500.
[Maximum human tolerance for radiation is 5 REMs per year.]
The force of the blast seemed unreasonable had it been tied solely to a chemical explosion, even given the chemicals involved and the volume stored at the site.  The heat of the blast also seemed extraordinary, given that it either evaporated or melted steel, leaving molten steel puddles around the hulks of cars on the delivery docks.

Molten steel from Tianjin vehicles

The melting point of steel is 2,750 degrees Fahrenheit -- which exceeds the constant heat of a chemical explosion.

On the other hand, even a small nuclear explosion [e.g., suitcase nuke] would create an enduring fireball of 6,000 degrees Kelvin, or 10,340 degrees Fahrenheit, more than enough to melt steel and create the puddles of molten steel we see in post-blast photos.

Notably, the blast site was cordoned off by the PLA and no news coverage was permitted after the uncontrolled access immediately after the blast.

Another massive explosion at a Chinese chemical plant in Runxing was reported on 22 August 2015, calculated at three (3) tons of TNT recorded in Shandung Province, followed by a second explosion recorded at the equivalent of 21 tons of TNT.
Poisonous chemicals reported in the explosive mix included adiponitrile.

[Updated 11/2018 in view of recent information]

Given the astounding and irrational explosive fires in California in October/November 2018 which some observers attributed to DEWs
complete with photographs used to ignite buildings, but not trees.

We reviewed the attributes of DEWs to determine if the effects were similar to the events and devastation in Tianjin; we were particularly interested in the radiation residue.

DEWs can be found as far back as 212 B.C.,
when Archimedes used parabolic mirrors to
direct the Sun's rays at Roman ships during the siege of Syracuse;
the ships instantly caught
fire and sank.

DEWs fired in experimental arenas seem to create similar effects as were found in Tianjin, to include high residual radioactive readings of 500+ REMs.

Tianjin crater, measuring nearly half a mile in diameter

So, at this point, although we don't rule out a nuclear strike on Tianjin, we now favor a DEW strike, which would account for the melted vehicles and the massive explosions which left a huge crater

A devastating side effect of the massive blast at Tianjin and shockwave was the forced shutdown of China's Tianhe-1, the worlds fastest supercomputer, which consumes 9,000 square feet, and manages China's space programs.

Also shut down was the Tianjin assembly plant for China's super-sized space rockets, which were to be launched at Wenchang, the new space center.  The rockets would deliver all the components for the construction of China's first space station, due to be built in 2022.

The Peoples Republic of China [PRC], never recognized as a Bastion of Free Speech, has silenced social media users who have criticized coverage of this disaster.  "Posts condemning 'disgraceful' local TV coverage have been removed from Sina Weibo, China's Twitter-like micro-blogging platform as have posts suggesting that local authorities restricted international media reporting on the incident."

The owner of the 400,000+ square foot container storage warehouse and storage complex  which exploded is Ruihai Logistics, established in 2011, handles one million tons of hazardous chemical cargoes annually, including inflammable, corrosive substances, oxidizing agents, and toxic chemicals.

It has been cited for failing "packaging checks".  Most are stored in shipping containers -- many of which have exploded or are continuing to burn.  Some of the chemicals generate flammable gas when wet, an unanticipated consequence of firemen hosing down the fires - which instead of putting them out, exacerbated the explosions.  At least one Ruihai executive [its Manager] has been detained by police.

Among the many chemicals stored, processed, and shipped by Ruihai Logistics, were

Also on site were storage tanks of compressed and liquified natural gas.

We doubt the PRC will allow the full extent of this disaster to be disclosed - any more than the US government would allow details of a similar US disaster in the press.

Ruihai Storage Complex before the blast

For your reference
on the scope of this disaster, we're
including a photo of the Ruihai Logistics
site before the explosions

This photo, of course, does not include
the huge warehouses and stacked shipping containers holding the toxic and explosive chemicals; but, you get the idea, right?

What we've dared not touch on is the possibility that our friends in Russia may have become uneasy with China's expansion in the Pacific, what with their building islands to serve as military staging areas.

Those instant islands have become a sore spot for Asian countries such as Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, and of course, Australia, all of which still remember the discomfort of World War II.

But, it seems that China has not been content with just a bunch of instant islands, but is now building miles-long floating platforms which could accommodate airstrips, docks, helipads, barracks, or even "comprehensive security bases", movable to make targeting more difficult.

Our Chinese friends, however, assure us that these platforms' principal purpose will be commercial; shopping malls, ski slopes, or, just tourist destinations.  Pay no attention to those radar domes; they'll just be tracking the tourist ships bringing hordes of tourist shoppers coming in for buying sprees on ..... the empty decks of these platforms.

Nothing to see here; move along, keep moving.

Ed Note: [03/03/23]

As we continue to hear reports that China's fleet is increasing in size almost daily, and that it is capable of surrounding our Pacific Fleet, consider that this attack on Tianjin occurred in 2015, nearly 10 years ago.

Notably, our DEWs have improved somewhat, to include a Plasma-Nuclear weapon capable of disintegrating a concrete building [the sized of the WTC] with an impacting beam a little brighter and more intense than our Sun.

For reference, take a moment and review this possible air battle over DC in 2015;
or, it may have been just a Sun Devil, as our PsyOps pals explained:

Hillary vs Carly

We think Carly Fiorina would make a nice counter to the "WOMAN" candidate vote, which seems to be the allure to the Liberal Community.
But, in this case,

1) Hillary, who has NO accomplishment as either a senator or the Secretary of State [ask her what she accomplished and she'll talk around it].  Her record, however is one of primarily scandal but also, incompetence
    (a) Benghazi
         [It does make difference]
    (b) WhiteWater Scandal
    (c)  TravelGate
    (d)  FileGate
    (e)  Alleged money laundering through her Haiti
         AIDS   foundation
     (f)  Foreign contributions to the AIDS foundation
in exchange for US business deals while she was SecState
(g)  Unexplained suicides and murders [50+] of opponents and critics of Bill
(h)  Security Violations as SecState

2) Fiorina, who has both success and failure under her belt as a powerful corporate leader

      (a) Fiorina joined AT&T as a management trainee
and rose to become a senior vice president
overseeing the company's hardware and systems
             division.
      (b) She led corporate operations for the spinoff from
             AT&T of Lucent
      (c) President of Lucent's Consumer Products division
      (d) President of Lucent's consumer products business
      (e) Chair of Lucent's consumer communications joint
            venture with Philips consumer communications
      (f) Group president for the global service provider
           business at Lucent
      (g) CEO: Hewlett-Packard
      (h) Forced the merger with Compaq to create the largest
computer company in the world -- with substantial
             employee growth.
       (i) Fiorina was the first woman to lead a Fortune 20 company

At HP, Fiorina
      (a) Shifted the emphasis from massive employee benefits to pressing
            for financial performance
            [i.e., no more free rides]
      (b) Replaced profit sharing with performance bonuses -
only if HP met financial expectations
            [i.e., no more free rides]
      (c) Reduction in operating units from 83 to 4!
[i.e., reducing massive bureaucracy to a manageable delegation
           of responsibility and authority]

The HP Board of Directors fired her following 9/11 and the economy's decline, causing a stock decline and reduced computer purchases by consumers.  As the economy declined, so did the fortunes of the company -- and she was a convenient scapegoat.  Oddly, all the changes that she wrought on the company have paid off in the long run, and HP is one of the most profitable companies in the US -- but recent CEOs have taken the credit.

She has been lauded for her dynamic leadership, but criticized for her lack of diplomacy in maneuvering corporate politics.

Would she be good as POTUS?
Likely not yet; but, as VP, she could be precisely the right person to reorganize the government!

Perhaps a Trump/Fiorina ticket?
First words after they are sworn in to the 0bama government leadership?

YOU'RE FIRED!

Democrats Hate Your Guts!

As more intelligent folk speak out about the miserable state of our current political system, we are delighted to expand their audience through this blog.
Today's guest post is by PJ O'Rourke
Contributing Editor to The Weekly Standard,
a publication I follow and highly recommend.

[Editor's Note (30NOV2023)]
I'm republishing this blogpost from 2015 since we've all witnessed the rise of the UniParty, which combines the arrogance of both Democrats and RINOs who have joined forces to portray American citizens as "potential terrorists, and thereby destroy America.  Sad to say, this post was originally written as satire; today, its an accurate portrayal of the  current state of our Republic.]

They Hate Your Guts
Democrats and their voters.
[THE WEEKLY STANDARD AUG 10, 2015, VOL. 20, NO. 45]

I would like to address myself to the poor, the huddled masses, the wretched refugees teeming to America’s shore, the homeless, the economically, socially, and mentally tempest-tossed.

Also, I’d like to address the young, the hip, the progressive, the compassionate, and the caring. I’d like a word with everyone who votes for Democrats.
Democrats hate your guts.
Democrats need your vote and they’ll do anything — no matter how low and degrading — to get it. They hate you the way a whore hates a "John".
All politicians hate people.
Politics is a way to gain power over people without justification for having that power. Nothing in the 11,000-year history of politics—going back to the governing elites of Mesopotamia—indicates that politicians are wiser, smarter, kinder, more moral, or better skilled at any craft (aside from politics) than we are.
But political rulers need the acquiescence of the ruled to slake the craving for power. Politicians hate you the way a junkie hates junk.
Politicians gain power by means of empty promises or threats, or both when they’re on their game. Should you vote for people who are good at politics? No.
You should vote for Republicans. We’re lousy.
Believe me, I know why you don’t vote for Republicans. You see the Republican candidates and they look so .  .  . Bush-League, Dog Walker, Rubio Rube, Get-Outta-the-Carson, Hucka-Upchuck, Ap-Paul-ling, Cruz Control, Fat-Fried Christie Crispy, Son-of-a-Kasich, Dingleberry Perry, Flee the Fiorina, Sancta-Santorum, Graham Cracker, and Nervous 7/11 Night Shift Manager Jindal.
And never mind the busted flush Trump Card who should be spray-painted with Rust-Oleum primer, have a squirt gun super-glued to his hand, and kicked through the front door of the Ferguson, Mo., police station.
You think, “I don’t want to vote for these people.”
Just between you and me, we Republicans think the same thing.

Christ whipping RNC and GOP leadership
Republican politicians stink.
This is because real Republicans don’t go into politics.
We have a life. We have families, jobs, responsibilities, and it takes all our time and energy to avoid them and go play golf. We leave politics to our halt, our lame, and our feeble-minded.

Republican candidacies are sinecures for members of the GOP who are otherwise useless and/or retired.
Democrats, on the other hand, are brilliant politicians.
And I mean that as a vicious slur. Think how we use the word “politics.” Are “office politics” ever a good thing? When somebody “plays politics” to get a promotion, does he or she deserve it?
When we call a coworker “a real politician,” is that a compliment?
“But,” you say, “Republicans don’t love us either.”
And we don’t!
As voters you are demographic groups. Republicans do not love demographic groups. Actually, Republicans do not love groups at all, with a few exceptions: The guys in the combat unit they commanded. Blood relations old enough to have been dead for years. Intimates of their private clubs. Golf buddies. Fellow guests at the Alfalfa dinner. And everybody in Bohemian Grove. But this love is proclaimed only after copious drink has been taken.
Loving you would mean Republicans are paying attention to you. We aren’t. Republicans pay attention to only a few people:
* Members of their golf foursome
* Business-associate members of their golf foursome
* Investment adviser members of their golf foursome
* Members of other golf foursomes at the 19th hole
* Their spouses (that is, their most recent spouses, married for being rich or hot)
* Their children (except the artisanal pot grower in Mendocino who’s shacked up with a holistic dance therapist—he’s cut out of the will)

And in that order.
Democrats pay a lot of attention to you. They offer you all sorts of trick-or-treat giveaways.
Benefits are the way government is expanded. The more government expansion, the more opportunities for politicians to get power. (Beware of razor blades in the candy apples.)
Democrats offer you regulations to make your life safer from razor blades in candy apples. Regulations expand government with unelected regulatory bodies so that politicians can get power without bothering about your vote.
Democrats hate you now, but wait until they have you fully regulated and aren’t even pretending to lick your Nikes, Birkenstocks, or Manolo Blahniks. (Nikes will be banned for exploitative overseas child labor. Manolo Blaniks will fall victim to a National Campaign to Improve Foot and Toe Health. And Birkenstocks—which never go away—will be found to be in violation of federal biodegradability standards.)
Besides prostituting themselves to your demographic groups, Democrats are adhering to the first principle of political elites: Divide and conquer.
Democrats adore your demographic groups.  Democrats are:
Pro-Women
Pro-Black
Pro-Latino
Pro-Immigrant
Pro-LGBT
Pro-AFL/CIO
Pro- Differently Labled
Pro-Unemployed
Pro-Poor
(And by pro I mean whore.)
Besides prostituting themselves to your demographic groups, Democrats are adhering to the first principle of political elites: Divide and conquer.

Hillary's Blood Money Donations

The Democratic party is one big family.
This means—as those of us from big families know—all of you detest each other.
Or you will by the time Democratic matriarchs and patriarchs get done parceling out too little to one group, too much to another, and none to most.
(Are you undocumented alien moms and children enjoying your summer internment camp?)

Democrats provide many social programs for the poor. If you happen to be poor, you know what these social programs do. They pay you to stay poor.
Democrats favor a higher minimum wage. And they’ll make sure you get a minimum wage. Forever.

St Hillary & Slick Willie
Democrats want to give you health care that’s free—and worth it.
Democrats will provide you with more opportunities to get an education and buy a house. A couple hundred thousand dollars of student loan debt and a huge mortgage that’s underwater will keep you poor for sure.
And then Democrats tax the hell out of your beer and cigarettes — two of the few small pleasures available to the poor.

Democrats are tough on business. After all, you might get into business. And make money. And vote Republican.

Money is all Republicans care about, say Democrats.

That’s not true.
We care about other things. We care about stocks, bonds, precious metals, commodities, mergers and acquisitions, arbitrage, and hedge funds.
And we care about you personally. If you happen to have a large amount of money to invest in our hedge fund.
Actually, we care about you anyway—if you’re of any use to us. Just the way you care about strangers—if they’re of any use to you. This is a good, Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations, side to human nature. Politics is the other side.
And even if we don’t care about you—because of our inability to care or your inability to be cared for—at least we’ll leave you alone!

Democrats will herd you into a group.
Democrats like groups because they loathe individuals. Any given group can be made dependent on political power. Any given individual is a different matter.

Democrats are in favor of abortion and against the death penalty.
How could anyone possibly arrive at that pair of moral judgments?
Republicans can, sometimes, understand the majesty of death—abortion as a matter of private conscience and evil paying the ultimate price.
Republicans can, sometimes, understand the sacredness of life — each fetus as a being and how we must not take what we cannot give from any person, however bad.
But no Republican understands the virtue of killing a baby too innocent to be born while sheltering and feeding a murderer until he gets fed up and tunnels out of Dannemora.

Democrats hate you.
And your family. Sixty-nine percent of America’s abortions are performed on women who are poor. More than half of the people in prison report pre-arrest annual incomes of less than $10,000.

A fetus is an individual who might grow up to be anything, even a Republican
Meanwhile convicts are a group that is fully dependent on government.
(And in Vermont, felons in prison can vote by absentee ballot, which may explain Bernie Sanders - who rose from poverty to become a politician to become a millionaire simply by throwing the election to Hillary.)
“Wait!” you say. “Republicans are just as bad!
Look at the Republican candidates trying to attract votes from segregationists, male chauvinists, gun nuts, religious lunatics, transgender-bashers, Nazis, climate-change-deniers, union-busters, flagrant emitters of greenhouse gases, and Wall Street malefactors of great wealth.”
Yep.
There our candidates are, trolling through the gutters of the electorate. That’s what politics does to people. It sullies even the most well-bred fellow and gal. Especially if they happen to be halt, lame, feeble-minded, or otherwise useless and/or retired and have therefore taken up politics.
Stay away from politics. And vote Republican.

As it says in Forrest Gump (the book’s author, Winston Groom, is a Republican),

Stupid is as stupid does.”

And you can count on us Republicans to not do much

[It's time to re-invent our Republic!]
